'FOREVER v/s FOR EACH DAY'

I've heard people say, "that was meant to happen",
you were meant to cross each other's path,
I wonder how everyone just seems to project forever's and eternities in paths that seem endless but fade away in dust eventually,
I wonder how everything we come across, is believed to be a never ending show, but has a certain validity.
I wonder how everybody just seems to believe that they can stick together, just because they have history.

I think forever is nothing but a false conception.
something that is beyond projection, but still in our thoughts.
What if - i tell the people that i've heard these stories from,
how every inch of my skin gets withered when i think about a forever while i settle to live just a moment,
how breathing the same air feels heavier on my part,
how moving around the same paths, we used to walk on, is exhausting yet brings peace to my heart.
If that is what 'crossing path' means, i surely think we must've been just two parellel ones, because forever's do not last, not in my thoughts anymore. //

••
I'd rather live a "foreachday" than a "forever", where efforts are valued, vulnerabilities are measured and love is projected with the right amount of light in a dark room.
Because "foreachday" marks certainty that "forevers" can never assure !!

'UP ABOVE THE WORLD SO HIGH'
||
I often travel with heavy luggages, unaware of the burden i carry,
Briskly walk through the aisle, and request for a window seat.
Settle down with a heartaching breath but an optimism to takeoff a journey.
I gaze through translucent windows, put on my seatbelt, and carve the run way of my dreams.
I fly through uncountable layers of dust and smog, the barriers, those, i've lived them all.
It's all cloudy at present, but aren't clear skies worth waiting for ?
/
You know how the world seems so small through an aircraft's window pane.
Landscapes converging into pointless objects.
For as far as you look, you'll find the world revolving just around you.
Where among so many others, you still stand supreme and mighty. Ruling your own visionary picture.

I believe to live that dream every single day.
To leap a thousand layers above all the challenges I ever come across,
To pilot my own run ways,
See through lenses converging my worries and
Tracing paths to superiority.

That is how it seems to paint pictures of self doubt, where each day is insatiable.
But patience, patience helps you fly through bearable levels and reach destinations that are worth all the turbulence.

'AN IRREPARABLE LOSS'

Often in life we aren't given enough options, but there are certain things that still find a way towards us.
Often in life we curse about situations that require a little more of our efforts, but never really pay heed to what is instore for us.
Often in life we do little for others, not knowing that it'll be their only memory of us.
Often in life we miss out on people that really do care for us, but never really reciprocate our love.
But it is not quite often in life that we realise, we aren't as fortunate to choose between possible options.
For how do you convince people, they were a part of your prayers,
How do you restore yourself from damages that are irreperable,
How do you show love when it is beyond measure.

In times like these, when we juggle between so many "ifs" and "buts", make sure, in life, we create our own options and very often tell people how much they mean to us. .

"I'll speak YOU this TIME"

Rarely, but quite often do we realise how worthy time is and how it can take a toll on us. Irrespective of our ultimate goal in life, we still keep working day and night just so we can face a particular day in our near future, tirelessly working to excel in those definite hours and minutes, till the very last second.

But while we do work for that scheduled day, as soon as we get past it, it all just feels like we could have still made it through.

While all this buries us into thinking why this is important, it's important we realise when it's important --- The time you are working your ass off, that TIME.
The time you are putting your hard work into action, that TIME.
The time you've walked past your doomsday, that TIME.

Tell yourself, what matters is how worthy you make your time until it passes by.
But before it does, trust your process, trust each ounce of energy and thought you put into facing that day;
While your time is passing, believe in yourself and give your 100% & When you get past the day, know that, it's just TIME, it still passes by. Because no matter how much you feel you can control TIME, the clock's still gonna tick, and only sometimes in your zone.

Time is precious, AGREED and so, while all people you know of,have the same number of hours you have, but some make more use of it that you do.

But, what's here to DISAGREE is that, it takes time to realize what TIME is YOURS, given that you have different ways to live life, you choose different processes, given that one may not know in what condition your times have been and that it does take time to HEAL which differs with each pair of eyes.
So, just in case you disagree, know that, just as much important time is, it's more important you know that the fight is YOU v/s YOU, in your own space and time.

Make sure that any random day when you realise it's your TIME, tread on the needles in the clock of life with a twin beside you, having the same thought process, but differing a lil, only so much that it gives you positive hope in times of negativity and turns the clock in your zone.

Keep ticking until YOUR TIME comes and if it doesn't favour you, need not worry bcoz by @little.scrolls

" I'VE SOMEHOW LEARNED HOW TO SETTLE "

I picture my day in glimpses and glory,
Each day I live to learn,
Some unknown truths,
Some discovered lies,
I'm settling in, I'm done.

It's almost as if time's flying,
And that grief's settling in,
The more I wish to picture curiosity,
The less I'm letting it in,
I've somehow learned how to settle.

In days of monotony,
In nights of despair,
Solitude I find in music,
As much I hope the beats could touch,
My story is all the lyrics,
I've somehow learned how to settle

Days passing by,
People walking out,
The joke is, it's all puzzled,
Of all the nots fixing the right,
The right is all undiscovered,
I've somehow learned how to settle.

If life is just about the hustle,
Some days I live, some days I settle,
Take my time, adjust a little,
Each day a time
Unpuzzle the puzzle.

If still I'm left with, is just to settle,
Life, surprise me a little. .

SILENCE IS POWERFUL ♥️...............................
Let us all experience silences.
For, silence talks back,
For, silence introspects,
For, silence tells you whether you are really alone or just lonely.
Silence builds you with the strength to hear to the noises.
Unreasonable.
Unbearable.
Silence evolves a wise you,to witness, that silences are complete in itself.

'SOMETIMES FOREVER ISN'T FOREVER'

While I sit at the shore,
Contemplating more
I gaze at the 'endless' sea.
For as far as I look,
As much as it took
To build the bond, I plea.

I've seen sunrises,I've seen sunsets
Felt the warmth, that you behold
I've crossed pebbled paves, to meet the waves
Painful silences, that nights are cold.

I've wandered sand floors,
Numbered the steps I took before
I count to know, there are two doors.
To my freedom, to my love
To my patience tested, to the infinity of my trust
I fail to see, the endless sea, even has two shores.

Of all the sand that brushed my feet,
Touched my soul, left me to believe,
To chase the wave, to plan a meet,
One last time, liberate to relieve.

I grabbed the sand , lifted my hand
To build a castle of memories
Unmatched footprints, bi- directional hints,
Dissolving bonds, leaving enemies.

I've felt it raw, a living saw
The ups and downs we meet,
A special bond, i was too fond,
'FOREVER' to me, you cheat.

To, all the chances i have given, i'm done,
The bond to me was an endless one.

' LOVE '

I often go on a morning walk,
In slippers and a night suit,
Happy being my worst version,
In the best weather around.

I search for comfort - in untidy bedsheets, in oversized clothes & the morning cool breeze,
I shiver at first but still wait for the sun,
To wrap me around when I sneeze.

How happy can I be to trace my paths, to destinations I felt not going,
But here I am - without earphones, without lipstick and without judgements,
Wearing just PURITY.

CAN LOVE BE THAT PURE ?

I experience silence, but it's not loneliness,
I experience distraction, but it's sweet.
I save it because,
Of all the nots I wanted to keep away,
Of all the branches I failed to hang upon,
I could still see beauty and perfection.

Dark brown and entangled, I peep through the branches,
All shades of green I see,
New leaves , new fruits, watered and healthy,
All nourished and cared I see.

CAN LOVE BE THAT SOOTHING ?

I hop & step on the dark patches,
They don't belong to me !?
I pay the price to search for the root (soul),
That was once kept close to me.

I still dig the land, water the patch,
But still smell the scent of regrets,
I still look for freedom & for peace,
In hope to clear all debts.

CAN LOVE BE THAT FREE ?

Of all I saw, of all I learnt,
Of all I need to let go,

I keep that safe, I keep that close,
To give something better than before.

To be so pure, to be soothing,
To be contented to serve freedom,
To be the root that nourishes the right branch,
I PROMISE MORE TO 'LOVE'

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! .

Sparkling cards, bouquet of flowers , fairy lights , lightening up my day,
Flickering candles, unheard voices leaving me speech-less to say.

It was once in a year I'd felt this.

Sudden rush , jolly excitement ,
Too bright , were the candles lighted up.

I rather kept starring at the cake ,
Pondering.... WHY DO WE EVEN CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS ?

Are we counting on the days we've left behind ?
Or wondering how near death is ?
Are we letting in the light, to start afresh ?
Or JUST. BEING. SELFISH ?
Grabbing all the love bestowed just for a SINGLE DAY.

Indeed so fortuitous !! New dresses, new shoes and 100 messages from novel heads.
A perfect escape from those 364 random days.

I was enveloping the only time when nights were not as silent as they used to be.
When I was a guest at my own party.
Attended but an unpaid one.
How spending money, stuffing food, dressing perfectly and posting pictures summed up a perfect birthday.

I rather wonder
Wasn't it about celebrating your presence in someone's life ?
Thanking them for making your life a lil more perfect than it is,

Re-celebrating , for they have made the moments worth remembering.

For they have been just the last candle on the cake that should never be blown off.

If you've to believe it is so,

Remember ! The next time you wish someone , tell them what you admire about them the most.
Make them count on the qualities and not the number of messages.

Celebrate their presence.

Because if i've to believe it is so,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRIENDS !! .

LET HOPE NEVER DIE !!!! .
For I just knew no day would be worse than this.
When all i could scrutinize was no string tuning to play the song i wanted to hear.
No heart wanting to accept what i believed.
No feet treading it's path towards me.
A whole lot of silence just like a bird lost from it's own sky.
That day seemed darker than ever before.
Just then i took a glance at the dark sky, wanting to curse the heaven for the fate i behold, to somewhere find a reason for the fault in my stars.
Ohh ! Just then the sky seemed so so beautiful as if it was adorned with those innumerable stars. A garland of hope.
I wonder if they ever found a reason not to share the pain when people like me wanted them the most. To be selfish and never penetrate light through the countable layers of dust and mist that my life beholds.
To always twinkle and reflect light through my rolling tears but rather strenghthen me much than ever before.
As a kid i knew just to count them, later just to know that they twinkle but now to FEEL them. For now they became my fascination and a reason why i should wear them to adorn myself. The way i express my ardent desire to respect these beautiful creations that will always stay with me and make me realise to NEVER, NEVER lose hope.
Well a perfect day that was indeed !

DIVE DEEP IN A HALF-FILLED GLASS
For I'd just stepped into the world of imagination, thinking how happy life should seem.
Opened my eyes to witness the first ray of the sun, AND
decide my destinations for today.

With an endearing little grin,
I had conveyed 'them' my aspirations.
Drank a half filled glass of water , packed my bag and left to tread on a path I'd never defined boundaries to.

Oh !! I'd just turned 18 and how happy I felt with the thought of enveloping myself into the world of the free's.

I started my journey, walking on an endless road.

A step forward and a flashback into those days when I wasn't even permitted to wriggle out of my bed,
See a flickering candle in the dark room but never reach there.

Because 'they' had defined my boundaries.

Who would know those curious eyes had seen the light of life.

With a hope of reflecting it back , I'd changed my destination,
found my temporary abode.
There they taught me to express my happiness and anger in limits.
And so, demarcated my boundaries.

Restrictions were piled up, before I could prepare for those little opportunities.

Wear those clothes.
Play that sport.
Write that way.
Come back by 6.

Change my name ?
How I was just served chocolates with chillies.

Today, walking on that endless road,
I see no sunshine penetrating through the leaves,
I look back, thinking about the subtle realities of life.
Questioning myself !!! Life was and is just about those essential boundaries and restrictions that inspires a person to fight back.
Make the most out of the little space you have.

I wish my life was a half-filled glass, where I could measure depths rather than question my boundaries.
Dive deep into it and swim till the shore.

Will you make efforts to dive with me ?
