2027 Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show – Guest Announcement #3!

Some people have been part of our journey for so long that it’s hard to imagine the show without them. Mike Royer is one of those people!

We’re excited to announce that Mike will be returning to the Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show in 2027!

Mike is a legendary comic book artist, inker, and letterer whose career spans decades. He’s probably best known to comic fans for his incredible work inking the legendary Jack Kirby at DC Comics, helping bring classics like The New Gods, Mister Miracle, The Demon, and Kamandi to life. He also worked closely with Tarzan artist Russ Manning and contributed to numerous other comics and newspaper strips, including Star Wars.

But Mike’s artistic career goes far beyond comic books! He spent years working with The Walt Disney Company, creating artwork and designs for books, comics, merchandise, and theme park products. He played a major role in Disney character licensing, including work with Winnie the Pooh, bringing beloved characters to fans around the world.

Mike has been a guest at so many of our shows over the years, and having him return means a lot to us. These relationships are what make Little Giant special. We’re not just putting on a comic show; we’re building a family of creators, collectors, and fans who share a love for this amazing hobby.

Welcome back, Mike! We’re grateful to have you as part of the Little Giant family, and we can’t wait to see you again in 2027!

Tickets go on sale November 1st at midnight!

More guest announcements are coming, so stay tuned!

2027 Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show – Guest Announcement #2!

Some guests are legends, some become friends, and some become family. For us, Al Milgrom is all three!

We’re thrilled to announce that Allen will be returning to the Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show in 2027!

"Uncle" Al has been part of our show almost every year since we started back in 2018, and we honestly couldn’t imagine the show without him. A legendary artist, writer, inker, and editor, Al has left his mark on decades of comic book history. His work at Marvel includes The Avengers, West Coast Avengers, X-Factor, and Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man. He also spent 10 years editing Marvel Fanfare.

But his career goes well beyond Marvel! At DC Comics, Al co-created Firestorm with Gerry Conway and worked on titles featuring Batman, Superman, and other DC favorites. His credits also include work for Charlton Comics, Warren Publishing, Atlas/Seaboard, Dark Horse, and Archie Comics, making him a true veteran of the comic book industry.

But Al means more to us than his incredible career. He’s been there with us since the early days of Little Giant, and over the years, he’s become part of our family. We’re grateful for his continued support, friendship, and the role he’s played in making this show what it is today.

Welcome back, Al! We’re proud to have you as part of the Little Giant family, and we can’t wait to see you in 2027!

🎟️ Tickets go on sale November 1st at midnight!

Stay tuned — we’ve got more great announcements coming!

2027 Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show – First Guest Announcement!

We’re excited to announce the return of Jim Steranko to the Little Giant Comics Old School Comic Show!

Jim is one of the true innovators in comic book history. Best known for his groundbreaking work on Marvel’s Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., he also left his mark on Captain America, X-Men, and other classic titles. His bold artwork, cinematic storytelling, and unique graphic style helped push the boundaries of what comic books could be. Beyond comics, Jim is an accomplished author and comics historian, and his creative work has even extended into Hollywood, including Raiders of the Lost Ark. He was inducted into the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.

He’s family to the Little Giant show, and we’re proud to welcome him back. Our show has always been about celebrating comic book history, the creators who made it, and the friendships that make this hobby so special.

Tickets for the 2027 show go on sale November 1st at midnight! Mark your calendars, and keep an eye out for more guest announcements as we get ready for another great show.

We can’t wait to see everyone there!

In 2018 our story began. We had an opportunity to rent an arena I wanted to host what I felt was a true comic show. Not one of these cookie cutter cons but a true comic show! One that I remember going to when I was a kid.

We took a stand:
No VOICE ACTORS (I never understood that, I mean, so this person sounds like the voice from a cartoon character you used to watch? I’m all set)

No COSPLAY CONTEST- I go to shows for comic books, to buy art and to meet artists that work on actual comics. Not to have 100 Deadpool’s pose for a photo op.

Speaking of Photo Ops - we refuse to have any actors, or sitcom stars. I don’t care if you played Spider-Man on TV or the 5th zombie in the back. Not interested in expensive photo ops nor do I want your autograph on my comic.

What we do have is the finest line up of comic vendors outside of Heroes anywhere in the northeast! Vendors like James Payette (we are the only show he does!), @reecesrarecomics @tomorrowstreasures.comics @themanbehindtheredhood @streyflexin @harleyyeerarecomics @terrys_comics @heritagecomics @basementcomics @superworld_comics to name just a few!
Not to mention legends like JIM STERANKO, David Michelinie, Al Milgrom, Mike Royer, Dan Jurgens, Tom DeFalco, Mike Manley, Keith Williams and more!!! (Yes we capitalized STERANKO, he’s earned it 🙌)

And, @cgccomics & @cgcsignatureseries will be on site! Not a facilitator, CGC themselves 🧡

2027 will be our 10th year, apparently we’ve resonated with true comic collectors and for that we are grateful. I never knew there were as many folks like me who don’t care for all that other stuff and just go to shows for comics and art.

We’ve fought to stay small. We love the intimacy our show provided. Vendors spaces are sold out years in advance, we are over 100 people on a waiting list for a spot. We’ve turned down offers to triple or even quadruple our size. We like it this way. We hope you do too!
