A fun way to bring My 5 Senses to life during speech therapy!

We read the book, explored each of the five senses, and used real objects to see, hear, smell, taste, and touch. Perfect for building vocabulary, describing, answering questions, and getting students engaged!

We can’t wait to see everyone this Sunday at Slothy’s for our very first Little Language Company session! ☀️💛

We’ll be kicking off summer with sensory sand and water play, music, dancing, bubbles, and plenty of opportunities to learn through play while making new friends.

Our classes are designed to support early communication and language development in a fun, engaging environment where little ones can explore, play, and grow alongside their caregivers.

We are so excited to begin this journey with you and can’t wait to make special memories together. See you Sunday! 🫶 by @littlelanguagecompany

Allow me to reintroduce myself! 💛

Hi!! My name is Bailey Kane, and I am a licensed speech-language pathologist in Broward County, Florida. I graduated with my master’s degree in 2021 from UCF and have worked with children and adolescence since! My experience includes two years in a high school, two years in an elementary school, and this past year in pediatric home health. I also have experience with teletherapy and with supervising SLP graduate students.

Through my work in home health, I have fallen in love with early intervention and helping little ones build communication skills through play, connection, and everyday moments. Seeing how much growth can happen when caregivers are given the tools and support to encourage language at home inspired me to create Little Language Company.

Little Language Company is a speech therapist-led caregiver & me playgroup designed for children ages 0–3 to learn, explore, and grow through sensory play, music, movement, books, and engaging activities. And we will do this all while naturally supporting speech, language, and social development.

I am so excited to combine my passion for speech therapy with creating a welcoming community where caregivers can connect, children can play, and language can grow.

I can’t wait to meet all of your little learners! 🌈🧸

Today we made pickles in feeding therapy. Mom packed us pickle juice and a cucumber and we cut it up to make pickles. Highly recommend if you have a pickle lover trying to incorporate more veggies!! by @littlelanguagecompany

We love exploring high tech AAC! This is an app called CoughDrop that has a free core board with 36 cells. I recommend this app to parents often. I also recommend this app for therapists if you are trialing AAC! by @littlelanguagecompany

Hi everyone!! I know I haven’t been on in a while. I have been posting on @accessiblematch

I wanted to share some career updates!

I decided to try a new setting and switched from the schools to pediatric home health! The last four years I spent my time as a school based SLP in a high school and in an elementary school. I learned so much and think it was a perfect place to start my career as an SLP. With that being said, I’m ready for some change and flexibility!

I will be continuing to grow Accessible Match while also seeing pediatric patients in their homes! I will be starting to work on feeding and swallowing which I am super excited about.

I plan on posting more about my pediatric home health journey on this account! by @littlelanguagecompany
