There’s a new street in Tivoli — and it feels like Dotonbori at night.

Walking under the Daemonen coaster last night, at the new Hikari area at Tivoli, I had the same feeling as standing beneath the expressway in Osaka before heading to Dotonbori. Neon and noise above, and an energetic and lighthearted atmosphere below. And suddenly Copenhagen felt like Osaka.

Tivoli didn’t copy Japan. They’ve translated it into a new area — mixing materials and style: imported roof tiles, retro signage, power lines sagging with just the same accidental tension between the poles. Even Pjerrot got a kawaii Japanese neon sign, folded into the vernacular.

In Japan, people of all ages fill the arcades. That same culture exists here now. Visit Hikari Hotel, grab a claw machine, and try your luck (and your wallet, like I did) at winning a fluffy teddy bear.

Don’t leave without comfort food at Comé Rice Kitchen first.

Intense, inspiring, and absolutely exhausting in the best way possible!
Folkemødet on Bornholm is Denmark’s democratic festival, where 100,000 attendees and 3,000 events collide over 3 days. I only had 24 hours, but I managed to catch a few moments for my camera roll. #folkemødet #demokrati #bornholm taken in Allinge, Bornholm, Denmark by @littlemycph

On the small island of Seto, Japanese architect Ryue Nishizawa shapes a seamless white concrete shell for the Teshima Art Museum—quietly inviting you into an almost empty void.

One of the most profound architectural moments of my journey.

Step inside Jan Störmer’s glass and steel architecture of the SIDE Hotel in Hamburg (2001). The first impression is made by the atrium, rising more than 30 meters above the reception. But when you lift your head and look up, you’re met with spectacular lighting effects by light designer Robert Wilson.

Tbilisi – one of the most underrated cities in Europe.
Here are 20 stories that made it through my curating. Swipe through to see how I experienced Tbilisi’s brutal, beautiful reality:

1. Brutalist Monument of Saint Nino (1985). Dedicated to one of Georgia’s patron saints. The structure was never fully completed.
2. Former Ministry of Highways – Now the iconic headquarters of the Bank of Georgia. A concrete icon from the Soviet era.
3. Nutsubidze Skybridge (1974–1976) Three concrete apartment blocks connected by skybridges. Striking, surreal, and unmistakably Soviet.
4. Meet Lift Lady Mzia. For over 20 years, she’s watched over the public lift at Nutsubidze.
5. Stepping into her flat was like stepping into another era – Jesus and Stalin on the wall, and yes, she still listens in on lift conversations using old Soviet surveillance gears.
6. Tbilisi State University Library (1970s) – I couldn’t explore the interior thanks to an ongoing fashion shoot and a no-nonsense security guard.
7. The Arashenda 17-story tower – Construction started in 1982, but it was never finished. No elevator, yet people live there today.
8. Wooden balconies are everywhere — often painted in bold colors.
9. Georgia might just be a Lada lover’s paradise
10. Cable cars are still part of the city’s public transport system
11. A failed architecture dream: the tubular glass and steel music theatre by Studio Fuksas was supposed to open in 2017. It now risks demolition.
12. The Chronicle of Georgia monument – 16 colossal pillars telling 3,000 years of history.
13. Brutalism. Concrete left bare and honest
14. Wooden balconies. Many rebuilt after the Persian invasion in the 19th.
15. Street life. Endlessly photogenic.
16. The city is full of secret backyards waiting to be found.
17. Inside a neglected building turned photo gallery
18. Stamba Hotel. A former 1950s Soviet publishing house, transformed into a brutalist chic hotel.
19. The guest rooms at Stamba. Towering bookshelves full of stories.
20. The Mother of Georgians (1958) – 20 meters tall, holding a sword in one hand and a bowl of wine in the other. Strength and hospitality, side by side.

Milan—it’s been a while, but what a trip! Three days, 14 pictures, 14 stories. Here’s my guide to making the most of a weekend for art, architecture, and coffee lovers. Swipe for all the must-sees!

1.	Museo del Novecento – We skipped the exhibition and went straight to the window.

2.	Bosco Verticale – Milan’s new architectural icon. These two towers, standing 80 and 112 meters high, house a total of 800 trees.

3.	The Milan Metro system (1964) – Designed by Albini, Helg, Piva, and Noorda, it became a model for subway systems worldwide.

4.	Brutalist church San Giovanni Bono – Located on the outskirts of Milan, designed by Arrigo Arrighetti (1968).

5.	Fondazione Prada – An incredible art space, transformed from a 1910s distillery into a unique architectural complex by Rem Koolhaas.

6.	Retrospective dedicated to Pino Pascali – A tribute to the Italian artist at Fondazione Prada.

7.	Traces of the old distillery – Visible throughout Fondazione Prada.

8.	Bar Luce – Designed by Wes Anderson, a dreamlike café experience.

9.	Breakfast at Marchesi 1824 – A historic Art Deco confectionery.

10.	A metro ride – Because Milan’s subway design is iconic.

11.	Sipping a Negroni at Naviglio Grande – The perfect spot for people-watching.

12.	Mudec – A former factory, now a sleek museum by David Chipperfield.

13.	Bocconi University Campus – A striking new private campus designed by SANAA.

14.	The Generali Tower by Zaha Hadid (2017) – A twisted glass-and-steel landmark (included just because Anne loves high-rises 😉).

15.	Triennale di Milano – Home to Italy’s design heritage, featuring iconic Fiat from the 1960s.
