I’ve spent the last several years designing beautiful, functional homes for all kinds of families, but since becoming a mom myself, I’ve come to realize where the magic truly happens for me: in the rooms where imaginations run wild, serving the most important clients of all — our children. From nurseries that feel like a warm hug to playrooms that spark endless adventures, I’m embracing my new calling!

Hi (and for many of you, hello again). I’m Michelle — Tampa native, Wife, Boy Mom, Former Elementary School Teacher, and Founder of House to Haven Interiors. And truth be told, for the last couple of years, I’ve felt very lost (professionally-speaking) — a feeling I assume many new moms can relate to! Not for a lack of passion — but a lack of intention.

House to Haven has been my ‘baby’ for many years now, but after leaning into my new role as full-time mom, I found myself asking some hard questions… “What brings me the MOST joy in this new season? Where can I add the MOST value?” After finding myself agreeing to primarily KID-centered spaces these last couple of years without even realizing, it suddenly hit me.

Direction.
VISION.
And an excitement for the future I haven’t felt since starting my business in 2018!

So here goes… PIVOT!

✨ Introducing Little Star Interiors! ✨

Inspired by my son’s sweet nursery space (where we spend most evenings stargazing under his glow-in-the-dark planets before bed), LSI is committed to creating space where your little (& big) ones can truly shine!

From now on, my focus will be entirely on KID-centric design — from newborn nurseries to teen retreats and every creative play space in between. My signature process isn’t changing; my focus is just getting a lot more… FUN.

Whether you’re a local Tampa mom who simply needs help organizing the chaos that is your child’s current toy situation or a first-time parent hoping to make all of your Pinterest nursery dreams comes true — your wish is my command!

Our children are growing at the speed of light (pun intended). Let’s build them out-of-this-world spaces where their dreams can take flight! 🚀

Possibly my favorite install to date. 🖤

This client wanted a pattern that would grow with her little girl, make an oversized room feel more cozy, and work with their current paint colors.

Moody, sophisticated florals to the rescue!

40 going on 14! 🗽

Two of my besties are hitting the big 4-0 this year, so we decided live out our preteen dreams in NYC next month and booked the ultimate girls’ weekend — BUNK BEDS and all! The excitement is real. Honestly, why did we ever outgrow these?

For the record, I call top bunk! 🙋🏼‍♀️🛏️

Weekends are about to get a lot more fun for this cool family of four! 🤩

This large, upstairs loft is about to be transformed into the ultimate family entertainment hub. From high-energy game zones to cozy lounge corners, this space will truly have it all. A few exciting additions we’ll be bringing to life:

🎯 Elevated shuffleboard, air hockey, basketball, & darts
📸 Girly selfie corner for their daughter & friends
💡 Custom millwork with built-in LEDs & lighted marquees
🍿 Luxurious velvet wedge sectional for cozy movie nights
🧩 Reading & toy center for their littlest star
🔊 Floor-to-ceiling linen drapery for sound absorption

GAME ON!

Which addition would your family love the most? 👇🏼
