Prototype 1 is assembled!!!

If you have been watching my stories you will probably have guessed by now that I've been making some kind of dragon figure. For over a month I've been sculpting, planning out, and testing what will and won't work. This is the first printed doll I've made and so I definitely ran into a few new issues to be fixed but over all this Ball jointed doll of Fiadhren works amazingly!!

She is highly posable and able to hold those poses (except on slippy surfaces hence her standing on my iPad oop) including her wings themselves! They're able to open all the way and close and fold almost as much as in my drawings. Additionally the fingers of the wings are able to be bent 360° at any joint but the "bones" of them allow for more anatomical looking poses rather then full wired wings.

Over all there's still a few things to be adjusted but I can make all of those without reprinting so I'll likely finish this one as is!

If you notice the print lines yes, this doll was made with an fdm printer rather then resin printed. I decided I wanted to try this way as it's more affordable, and other then print lines in a few spots it works really well!! I'll also be able to smooth out the lines so it will likely look perfectly smooth afterwards.

I will be posting more of my progress from here on out so if you're interested in seeing my progress give a follow!! I will also hopefully be making custom ones for sale once I've fixed all the issues.

(Her fins will be added as fabric along with the webbing of her wings)

Also a note, this was made in part using a doll stl sold on cults made by Nathaniel 3D, with their permission I altered it. I have heavily changed the feet, head and snout, sculpted the horns, ears, and tail piece from scratch. The wings are also 100% made by me!

Forever and a day 💜

Five years ago I made the drawing on the second slide for my then boyfriend. We had been flirting for a good bit at that point but had only just become an actual couple. We had started bonding over pokemon, his favorite was rowlet and mine was noibat.
I had barely drawn backgrounds, and I was still pretty new to drawing humans but he has asked for pokemon art and I really wanted to impress him.

Now, it's been five years, I've married that guy and we've made a home together!! I thought it was fitting to finally redraw this since Ive CLEARLY come very far art wise, he's had the same image for his phones background all these five years as well so seeing my old art was starting to drive me nuts. Genuinely I'm very proud of how good I've gotten at backgrounds, lighting, drawing people in general!! So let this also be a lesson to you, if you don't feel you've improved at all, take a look back at some art from a few years ago and it'll become clearer!!

I added this audio as a joke, I've been seeing it get used lately and it's so funny and reminding me of all the cringey amv's i watched as a kid.

This is the first time I'm making a piece that has like a transition aspect and it's not the best but I also used like a free gif maker cause I don't know how to use CSP's animation software. If you have a better recommendation let me knowww 😭

Astrophel is a storm and shadow dragon and so naturally he needed a cool shadowy form, I kinda tried inspiring it off Euini a little (iykyk) cause they have similar soft boi vibes. Definitely didn't quite get that look here but maybe the next try.

I PROMISE IM NOT DEAD!

I've been adjusting to my new work schedule haha, though to be fair now with artfight over my posting will likely become infrequent again once I finish uploading the rest of my attacks.
I was hoping to join smaugust this year but that's definitely not happening.

This is one of my last day attacks! It was a revenge for the AF user Screwtiny. They drew Nimbessa and she looks gorgeous!! Though it did make me realize I missed a detail on her reference sheet 😅 I've been kicking myself since.
Wanted to do an expression exercise with this one!

Another art fight attack I hadn't posted yet!!

I had been wanting to make a piece based off a sculpture by Kim beaton. I just thought the pose was really cool. I had previously started to do it for an art trade but the trade fell through before I could get past the sketch. So I figured art fight was a great time to redo it!!
I'm actually pretty proud of this one and it was one of the harder pieces for me to do! So I feel pretty good about it
