Finding amazing things above and below the surface. Living without limits 🌋

What happened to me last night has fundamentally changed every fibre of my core and there is no way to "come to terms" or "reconcile" or even "accept what happened and acknowledge it and move on" - because it was a level of skin crawling amygdala glitch sheer primal panic I never knew could exist. There are only the facts. I had a massive savannah 5 feet tall bury my back yard and I finally got it looking like actual human beings reside there...as well as rats and mice by the trillions. Rats and mice who have no where to hide so RiffRaff has been slaying with frantic glee. I was ready for a sleep so indulged in a bubble bath pre drifting off to rest. Through half closed eyes I noticed him walk into the bathroom and that's when my world, nay, universe, galaxies beyond all shattered with explosive force and my brain liquefied. I heard a splash. My eyes sprang open when I saw something else ..alive..swimming like Steven Hawkins..IT MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME 🤮🤢 This psychotic mofo hit a level of torture even Japanese in WW2 wouldn't sink to. He threw a live rat into my bath. I can never look at him again. The signs of his depravity were there. Behind his facade he is a next level Machiavellian sadist. by @littlewingy44

For years I've looked at this picture taken on Tidore Island looking across to Ternate Island wondering what storms this fragile looking little jetty has seen and how long it has stood. Im kind of glad I will never know - the secrets run deep in the spice islands. The Portugese Fort on the hill behind was aimed at the Dutch Fort on Ternate Island - has this little bridge seen pirates and the death of the spice trade? Isn't it nice to know there are still parts of this earth less travelled :) #spices #ternate #exploreindonesia #jetty #historyinpictures by @littlewingy44

Seghe Airport in the Solomon Islands consists of a runway through the middle of the island with houses either side, making looking both ways an important part of living in Seghe. I was watching old videos and decided to have a little bit of fun with AI. For the record there are no Cassowaries or Cassoworries as I prefer to call the psychotic chromosonally challenged psycopaths on Seghe Island. Also for the record I am pretty sure no one has ever ridden a cassowary. But here we are in 2026 and AI kept suggesting I get creative so...this made me giggle. #cassowary #solomonislands🇸🇧 #aivideo #instaart #nonsense by @littlewingy44
My Dog's beautiful best friend and Rescue Cat RiffRaff. RiffRaff hails from the harsh dry desert country of Mount Newman and now lives in abject luxury with his best friend and dog Kizzy #petsofinsta #dogsandcatsofinstagram #rescuecatsrock #lovemyboxer #lovemypets by @littlewingy44

There is zero "inappropriate images" in this little look back at my time on Tanna. Everyone is wearing pantaloons be they Vivienne Westwood or Tribal custom/kastom recyclable pandanus leaves or my travelling shorts. No naked people here just a cultural insight into a disappearing way of life colliding with deep geopolitical discussions as the Chief has concerns about the belt and road initiative. Our discussions later delved into Vanuatu's Volcanism and kids exposure to technology stealing the kastoms of eons...and the Chief declaring war on my sons because of too much screen time. You see we are all pretty much wanting the same simple things - we may look vastly different but our needs to live in peace on this planet may look different on the surface. Dont travel looking for something, travel looking at everything - and learn to speak Bislama and Pisin so you can discuss macroeconomics appropriately and hilariously. It's OK to say - digga blong him, him no savvy - when that is all that needs to be said #vanuatu #artofvisuals #tribes #customculture #artofvisuals by @littlewingy44
The devil outside? Conservation matters - this middle aged lady devil has been a main character in the amazing genetic insurance breeding program helping to ensure these wild womens babies are released into the wild free of the cancer that threatened an already threatened species. #tasmaniandevil #travelmoments #tasmaniawhyweloveit #roamtheworld #naturevibes by @littlewingy44
