This painting titled: “Angela Davis, Wilma Mankiller and Gloria Steinem Bay at the Moon” is my statement about how much I admire these women and how they have moved the feminist cause forward. Now only Angela Davis survives. Let’s keep working for all women’s rights and all voting for people who support us.

This painting titled “ Day Dreaming” is on view at Columbia City Gallery in Seattle during the month of September.

The painting is about dreaming of things past and/or things to come. It’s thinking about possibilities.

These women are day dreaming about what could be, as well as what has been in their lives.

Life is complex and we all want to have the freedom to live, grow, and become what we dream.

Columbia City Gallery is an interesting and fun Gallery. Worth a stop to look at good art. And some interesting crafts too.

Working on my next exhibition. It seems to be shaping up to be about women’s body images.

What is expected of women. What they look like.

The cupcakes are the decadence they are expected (by some people’s societal norms) to avoid even when they really do not want to!
