I am beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Long Island University to play Division I flag football! I want to thank my friends and family for always believing in me, as well as Coach Barbarise for making all of this possible!๐Ÿฆˆ by @liusharksflagfb

From 8 years old to 19 years old, this game has shaped so much of who you are. I still remember when you first started playing flag football at 8 years old โ€” getting stomach aches before games because you were so nervous. There were times you wanted to quit, times you doubted yourself, and times I had to push you because I saw something in you that maybe you didnโ€™t see in yourself yet. This journey started with OLD SKEWL Sports โ€” where both you and your brother first fell in love with the game. The coaches, teammates, and experiences along the way helped shape the athlete and person you are today. What a crazy ride these last few years have been. In 2025, you graduated high school, helped lead your team to a Section 9 Championship in Middletown, NY โ€” our tight-knit community โ€” started your journey at Pace University, and now youโ€™re preparing for your next chapter: transferring to play Division I flag football at Long Island University ๐Ÿฆˆ As a nursing major maintaining a 3.7 GPA, you continue proving that hard work pays off. And becoming the first female from Middletown, NY to commit to Division I flag football makes this moment even more special. From researching schools, pushing you when you needed it, and reminding you that you were capable of anything โ€” I hope you always know Iโ€™ll never stop believing in you. Sometimes our kids borrow our belief until they can fully see it themselves. You earned every bit of this. Keep chasing your dreams. Your mom will always be cheering you on every step of the way. Forever your biggest fan. Proud Mom โค๏ธ #LIUSharks #SharkNation #Division1 #FlagFootball #WomensFlagFootball StudentAthlete NursingStudent ProudMom HistoryMade OldSkewlSports by @liusharksflagfb
