19 years spent with you was not enough. You were the most amazing dad i could have ever asked for. I loved every minute that i got to spend with you and I’m so grateful for everything that you taught me. You taught me how to ride a bike, catch fish, drive the boat, change my tire, be a lady, stand up for myself, love Jesus, be kind to others and so much more. Our relationship was far beyond just a normal father and daughter relationship. You were my bestfriend. We talked about everything. I always went to you when i needed an opinion or advice on what to do because what you said mattered to me most. You never failed to lead me in the right direction. You taught me how to play golf (even when i didn’t want to) and it is now a sport that i love and will play forever. Every time i play, i’ll think of you. You always pushed me to get out of my comfort zone and chase my dreams. No dream was ever too big. You believed in me even when i didn’t believe in myself. You were there for every award ceremony, prom, sports event, birthday party, and any other event i had. You were my biggest supporter. I know how much you loved me because you told me every chance you got. You always told everyone that i was your flower child because I was always happy and smiling. I plan on staying that way for you. Im so proud of you Dad. You are the strongest man i know. Thank you for fighting for so long. I know you did your very best and i’m so so proud. I get so much peace knowing you’re with Jesus now. It was so hard to say goodbye but to know you’re out of pain makes me so happy. I know you’re already having a feast, catching a ton of fish, and playing the drums up there in heaven. I know it’s not a goodbye, but a see you later. I’ll do everything to make you proud Dad. Couldn’t be more grateful for the man you are. Your love is so gentle and kind. You love me loudly and proudly, on my good days, and even more on my bad days. The past 4 years with you has been nothing short of amazing. I’m so proud of us and what we are building together. TYJ for this relationship and this sweet man that I get to spend my days with!
