Heading out on a girls’ trip next week, so naturally… I’m meal-prepping for my husband.
Because especially when I’m not home to cook… for the love of God, the man cannot cook.
This Souper Cubes tray from @surlatable is making it so much easier to freeze individual portions and stock the freezer with meals he can actually heat and eat.
Grab yours from the link in my bio
Now tell me—what else should I make for him before I leave? 👇

A generational family recipe - Sukhdi, cooked perfectly in my favorite All-Clad cookware from @surlatable. #thekitchentable #surlatablepartner #madetolast
All-Clad cookware link in bio
Sukhdi Recipe:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 cup ghee + 1 tbsp
1 cup shaved jaggery or jaggery powder

Add 1 cup ghee and whole wheat flour in a thick bottom pan
Roast the flour on medium to low heat till the flour starts changing color and leaves ghee on sides
Now add almond flour to it and roast for a couple of minutes until the mixture starts bubbling and the aroma fills your kitchen
Here be very careful not to over roast.
Take the roasted flour out in a bowl.
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in the same pan and add jaggery.
Cook on slow heat until jaggery is completely melted.
Turn off the heat and add roasted flour to it and mix well.
Spread it evenly on a greased tray and let it settle for a minute
Cut into even pieces and leave it to settle for another 15 minutes
Seperate the pieces carefully and serve. by @live_amicably

I love to mix traditional pieces with contemporary glassware when I set my table for special occasion. I have used Riedel O Wine tumbler, from @surlatable, with my Gold dinnerware. It is gives a very royal and polished look to the while setup.

I grilled peaches and blueberries with a kittlw butter salt and pepper, spreaded a generous dollop of cream cheese over homemade sourdough crackers and topped them withcrispy fried onions, fresh oregano from my garden and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.
