If anything, being a cancer survivor, I’ve learned that sometimes bad things happen but it’s up to you how you proceed.

I could easily give up but that’s not me at all & that would defeat the purpose of this business I truly want to be a living example for.

I wasn’t able to make it to my best friends organization event to give back to school children in her community, talk about hurt 😩 HOWEVER, my plan was to give proceeds of my sales today to her organization @theparentzoneinc & even though I couldn’t physically make it I STILL WANT TO DO THIS!

So, I’m asking for YOUR help now until Monday! I will be giving 40% of my sales from now until Monday to @theparentzoneinc. So go buy two shirts! One for you and someone you love ❤️

As a cancer survivor, I reflected on this news differently! I couldn’t help but think about how hard it was during chemotherapy but having this mindset to keep going seemed to be the only logical thing to do. The trauma of having cancer can mentally and emotionally drain you after being drained physically. I know it took immeasurable strength to endure 4 years of this. 😢 To live with this disease and do extraordinary movies, raise children, be a husband, have faith in God...this man had a heart of Gold and lived a life of purpose! We will forever remember you! Thank you for reminding me why I started this business & what My Purpose in this life is.

Living on purpose is showing up for those who need you most, the ones you created and those little eyes and hurt that look up to you.

S/O to these fathers who work every day to provide, love, teach and fulfill their purpose by taking care of the gift God gave them. Let’s normalize celebrating present black fathers without it being Father’s Day!
