3️⃣ & 4️⃣ stages of our traverse through the valleys of the Pyrenees.

➡️ Starting from the Serradets Refuge, we crossed the Gavarnie Valley and visited the Gavarnie Waterfall, the highest waterfall in France. 18 km with a significant elevation loss and we finished the day at the Granges de Holle Refuge.

The following day, we covered 16 km with 1,300 metres of elevation gain, eventually reaching Baysselance Refuge, the second-oldest refuge in the entire Pyrenees.

The final 400 metres of elevation gain will have to wait for the next post, where I’ll take you to the summit of Petit Vignemale.
