On October 2nd, Kimberly, tragically lost her life to gun violence at the Artist Lounge in Northridge, CA. This senseless act has devastated our family and left us grieving a loss that words cannot fully express. She also leaves behind her 2-year-old son, who now has to grow up without his mother. Kimberly was a young mother with so much life ahead of her. She was attending school, loved reading books, and was working toward building a better future for herself and her son. She had dreams of going to college and/or enlisting in the military so that she could provide a stable and secure future for her child. She had goals, plans, and a future that was taken from her far too soon. I am starting this fundraiser to help cover her funeral costs and burial expenses, and to help support her young son during this heartbreaking time. Right now, our family is facing both the unimaginable pain of losing Kimberly and the financial burden that comes with laying her to rest and caring for those she left behind.

Kimberly deserved the opportunity to see her dreams through, watch her son grow, and continue building the life she envisioned for them. Her life was robbed from her far too soon, and we want to honor her memory by giving her the farewell she deserves and helping provide for the son she loved so deeply. by @livefromthe818_

the funeral and burial of our beloved Jaydin Lewis, my 18-year-old nephew, who was tragically shot and killed on Friday night at ‘Artist Lounge’ in Northridge. Jaydin was a sweet, happy young man who loved music, was a high school senior, and dreamed of becoming a marine biologist.

He was a beloved twin, brother, grandson, and nephew who brought joy to everyone around him. Our family is heartbroken by this sudden loss.

Right now, everyone is trying to process what happened while also facing the reality of funeral expenses. There is not a service date yet because this just happened Friday night, and the need is immediate.

The funds raised will go toward Jaydin’s funeral expenses and help ease some of the financial burden on our family during this painful time. Any donation, no matter the amount, or even sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much to us as we come together to lay Jaydin to rest and honor his memory. Thank you for your support, prayers, and kindness. Link in bio by @livefromthe818_
