Roll up! roll up! The ringmaster himself Mr. Jerry Fish is rolling down in Swords for his usual soiree of swashbuckling antics at Peacock’s on October 30th.

With a back catalogue of top 10 radio hits from over the last 20 years, Jerry burst on to the scene in the late 90’s early/ 2000’s with his band The Mudbug Club and has become the epitome of the contemporary Irish artist. A living breathing portait of an artist as we watch the poetry in motion.

He has collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop and Imelda May and more recently covered the late Daniel Johnston’s works but has also deeply rooted himself within the fabric of Irish music itself with his relentless touring and even hosting his own mini festival ‘Fish Town’ annually at Electric Picnic.

A cult hero with a cult following of loyal fans wherever he goes this is one show never to be missed!

Dublin Comedy Festival Presents - Andrew Maxwell in a night of comedy at Peacock’s, Swords on Sept 11!

★★★★★ “A master-class in mirth. Sublime timing, relaxed delivery style, killer punch-lines: the holy trinity of stand-up are all present and correct. Go see a craftsman at work” - The Herald

The double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and one of Ireland’s favourite storytellers, Andrew Maxwell is returning to his home island to do what he does best – find the funny in everything going on in this crazy world today and, let’s be fair, being damned good at it.

Often referred to in his score of first-rate reviews as one of the most skilful comics of his generation, Maxwell has long been at the top of his game. His expertise in finding the perfect balance between humour and insight in any given situation, his lightning quick wit and his fierce intellect have ensured that he remains the King of Comedy long after he was crowned by Channel 4.

Maxwell’s twenty-plus years of TV appearances include Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI, Richard Osman’s House of Games, I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, Pointless Celebrities and Live at the Apollo - and is also the recognisable voice behind MTV’s hit show Ex On The Beach. He has even won Celebrity Mastermind which, for anyone who has been in a room with him for more than 5 minutes, will come as no surprise.

★★★★★ “A force to be reckoned with… Andrew Maxwell brought the house down” - Voice Mag UK
