Live Softly mornings… in a world that does not feel soft right now… the importance of standing by your values, supporting what you want to see more of in the world feels pertinent and powerful. Choosing sustainable options from organisations that support minorities and diversity does make a difference. It determines what survives after the fires rage through . Because in the face of leaders who will erase the truth and bulldoze the earth for profit we know climate change and living in harmony with our planet is real and imperative. Your dollars determine the world we will live in. We have seen so many small businesses and store fronts close in January of 2025 - including some of our small independent live softly stockists here in Australia. Choose where you spend your attention and choose consciously which businesses you support and fund …we say no to Amazon and to lining the pockets of the billionaire corporations and choose to support local, artisan made, transparent and ethical supply chains and the diverse humans behind them. Meet the artist and makers behind our new range of felt puppets, available exclusively on the Studio A Art Store!😍

Designed by Studio A artist #AnnetteGalstuan and handcrafted by Live Softly artisans in Nepal, this playful range of 100% wool felt puppets features some of Annette’s favourite animals.

Hand stitched by artisans in Kathmandu, this collaboration supports Nepalese people with disability to access fair wages, housing, medical treatment and education, while also creating income for artists with intellectual disability here in Sydney.

There’s a new release of some of our Live Softly X Studio A felty puppets on the sparkly newly launched @_studio_a_ website… A penguin, some fishy friends and the loveliest kookaburra all designed by Studio A artist Annette Galstaun and then recreated by our Live Softly artisans in Nepal meticulously stitch for stitch. This collab was fun to bring to life and the Studio A artists have just been on fire lately - if you’ve been to the Archibald this year you’ll understand! So lucky to have worked with such an amazing organisation and such wonderful artists ♥️♥️ @livesoftly @_studio_a_ by @livesoftly

👊Solidarity with @fash_rev values. Here at @livesoftly we pay above fair trade wages to our craftspeople, with an additional margin which goes toward providing housing assistance, medical support and more for craftspeoples families affected by Leprosy in Nepal. When buying from Live Softly you are casting a vote for business that cares for more than just the bottom line and supporting our makers and their families to break cycles of poverty and ableism (Living with disability means many of our Nepalese community are not able to work in mainstream workplaces where productivity at all costs is prioritised). So here’s to supporting a radical new values based economy 💙 by @livesoftly
