sustainable health looks VERY different

one thing studying nutrition has taught me is that health isn’t built through chasing the ✨smallest✨ version of yourself.

which one do you relate to most? still trying my best with the last slide (but I’m just a girl) 🫪🫪🫪

POV: you found the best thing to do in crete !! ⚓️🌞🇬🇷🐠

We booked a private sunset boat trip from Heraklion to Dia with @sailingtrips.gr 💙
On their newest double motor boat it took 15 mins to get to Dia and from then we had hours of swimming and relaxing !!

Includes private skipper (who was vibes), unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, loud speaker system, cheese & cold cuts board, paddle boards + snorkels 🌊✨

The bluest water we’ve ever seen & our skipper stopped to let us watch a 10/10 sunset on the way back ✨

Not all fats are created equal 👀

Most of us are (unknowingly) consuming more than enough omega-6 fats through ultra processed foods, meals out (yes, sorry Nandos) and quick snacks.

Yet what we tend to be lacking ↓
🐟 omega-3s - for anti-inflammatory properties + brain health
🥩 quality protein - from both meat + plant sources
🫐 fibre - for optimal digestion
💧 hydration - well, need I explain this one?

Let this be your sign to cook it at home instead 🐔

a healthy lifestyle is created through balanced habits, not extremes ↓↓↓

— whole foods give your body nutrients, whilst treats give you flexibility.
— protein enables you to stay full and maintain muscle, and a high fibre diet supports digestion and blood sugar.
— strength training encourages longevity and builds a healthier metabolism, whereas mindful movement grounds us and reduces stress.
— gut health matters (a lot), but enjoying your meals matters just as much.
— consistency builds routine and results, but self-compassion is what keeps us going.
— sleep regulates hunger hormones, supports our nervous system and enhances cognitive function, allowing us to fill our days with productivity.

true wellness (& happiness) is in the balance 💫
