Making my ordinary day special. Pre-shift activity.

Weather is still amazing. Im actually surprised that it’s still good lol. So, I decided to run Burnaby Lake 🏃‍♀️.

Im just happy that I didn’t give up in between. Didn’t walk. I achieved what I wanted to achieve today.

Not every struggle is visible. Many of us are carrying something beneath the surface, big or small. Just like you.

We show up on some of your worst day. But that doesn’t mean we’re not going through things ourselves. It doesn’t mean we have everything figured out, either.

We are human, too.

So, if you have a friend, neighbour, or family member who’s a first responder, maybe today is a good day to check in on them.

Sometimes, we need someone to show up for us, too.

Korean paramedic meals on shift.

When I do my meal prep, first food that comes on my mind is Kimbap. I can’t say it’s easy to make but it’s definitely worth it to make it for my shift. Easy to eat, delicious and well balanced nutrition.

High calories but that’s what we need!! We need energy to keep going for 12 hrs. So, I love Kimbap 🖤 the food gives me everything that I need. Taste, nutrition, energy and authentic 🇰🇷

‼️ not a Japanese roll, or oh.. it’s sushi. Nononono.. different ingredients. We don’t make Kimbap with raw fish, vinegar and sugar. Kimbap is with veggies, egg, and ham. Season the rice with sesame oil and salt.

When someone asks me “What’s your goal?” Or “Where do you see yourself in five years” my answer has never been about becoming something or owning more things.

I’ve always imagined a life with more freedom over my time. More happiness. More travel and new experiences. Good health. Well-being. Enjoying the life I’m building.

So, my goal is way of living. And, that’s why Im working on myself now.
