Guess who’s joining the lineup for Thursday ⁉️ It’s comedian @brittany.goblin.carney!

After starting her stand-up journey in Washington, DC, this brilliant New York based comic, actor, and writer is now headlining the country. You may have seen her in either “Fantasmas” or “That Damn Michael Che” on HBO, and she has also written for “Oh My God… Yes!” on Adult Swim. Vulture Magazine has listed Brittany as a “Comedian You Should and Will Know.”

Her debut special is called “That Is My Horse,” which is streaming everywhere now.

You know, it is the year of the horse, and the species seems to be making a frequent appearance this season. From a horse-riding-a-horse on the cover of Jonny’s Day Out’s new album to our upcoming November show featuring illustrator Lisa Hanawalt’s lifelong obsession with horses… this is just the kind of creative absurdity you sign up for with Live Wire. And we love it.

See you at the @albertarose.theatre in three days?

Is @eliotglazer obsessed with old people?

In our latest episode, comedian and writer Eliot Glazer talks about how there’s no instruction manual for being queer—but his new book, “The Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Gay,” might come a close second.

What does a meal without any ingredients brought to America by European colonizers look like?

In our newest episode, we take a trip to “Turtle Island” with chef and restaurateur Sean Sherman (a.k.a. @the_sioux_chef). It’s the name of his new cookbook—that’s more than just a cookbook.
