Up until today, my dad has been serving in the USCG for my entire life, and even before that. He gave 25 years of his service and dedication to our country, a truly selfless sacrifice. The places I’ve lived and the people I’ve met I owe to his service and the life that he and my mom provided for me and my siblings. Although the birthdays and some younger life events were missed due to his multiple months-long deployments, my favorite memories will always include my mom getting my baby self ready to go down to the pier and wave and jump up and down with pure excitement and know that her daddy was finally home, a little military girl’s dream come true. It’s true when they say that your first hero is your dad, I know mine was and still is. Thank you, Dad, and thank you Momma for your pure motherly strength and resilience raising me, Soph, and Nico on your own when Dad was away.

Ending my chapter of college means beginning a new one as I start my nursing career⚕️

A few loved ones I want to recognize for helping me get to where I am today:
•Mom - for teaching me that failure and my mistakes are not the end, but only another opportunity to try again, harder
•Dad - for his consistent words of affirmations & reassurance of my strength and abilities when only doubt plagued my mind
•Hunter - for his endless compassion, love, & understanding through every single trial we faced together
•Liv - my best friend, who stood by me even when I was at my breaking point & made sure that my sad days always had a happier ending
•My entire family (both Brandt side & Ferrell side) - who always encouraged me to reach my goals & consistently showed up for me when I needed them
