I’m heartbroken to share that a few weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our sweet Arrow girl.

I got Arrow off Craigslist in Vermont when I was 21, right after I dropped out of college. She was with me for 10 years, 7 apartments, and 5 jobs. It feels wrong to live without her after being together for so long.

Her favorite food was pizza crusts. She loved to roll in the grass, sniff everything, and spend time as much time as possible on our porch. She was happy to drop and roll over for a belly rub anywhere, anytime.

Arrow was the best dog: a goofy, opinionated, perfect girl. I will love and miss her forever 💛 by @livielane

This year’s outtakes 💫

On paper, 2025 was a mess. I spent a lot of it in recovery from surgeries and chemo.

Thankfully times of difficulty and sadness truly do make the happy times sweeter. I treasure every moment of feeling healthy, every ride on Sierra, and every laugh with friends + family.

Having cancer really really sucks, but I have to recognize that being on this shitty journey with my wonderful people is probably one of the more important things I’ll do in life 💗 by @livielane
