Living Bread Co Turns 1🥳❕⁣
⁣
This picture was the first loaf I ever sold at DIG Local Market. ⁣
⁣
Oh how far I have come since then!!! How many lessons learned. From staring a business in the middle of a pandemic to learning how to use a 60 qt mixer to scoring beautiful designs to knowing my limits and pulling back. ⁣
⁣
It’s been a BEAUTIFUL ride! One I wouldn’t still be on if it wasn’t for your continued support. 💜⁣
⁣
Living Bread Co. is what it is because you have believed in it! For that I am beyond words grateful and thankful to you all. For supporting this little momma with her dream to bringing yummy and healthy bread to the neighborhood. ⁣
⁣
Thank you for continuing to support me as I transitioned to a delivery model. This model has helped me care for my family more. I’m not sure all of you know but I homeschool my children. 💃🏻 ⁣
⁣
It’s wild to think that Livingbreadco is 1! ⁣
⁣
Excited to think about the new recipes that will come in this next year. And the happy homes my bread will go to. ⁣
⁣
In celebration of turning 1 I will be delivering this Friday. For every order placed I will give you a celebratory sourdough yummy brownie. Order 2 items you will get 2 brownies (and so on). If you would rather celebrate with a flatbread please specify in your order. 🥳⁣
⁣
Celebrate with me! Bread is Life!🥳💃🏻🔥🙌🏼⁣

This is a tribute to my grandparents Carmen and Mario Vera.⁣
⁣
Cuban immigrants that fled from Cuba when Fidel first came into power.⁣
⁣
They could foresee the tyranny that was coming and decided to risk it all in hopes for a better future. Leaving behind family country culture and language. Leaving behind everything they knew in sacrifice to give their children and their children’s children’s more.⁣
⁣
My grandfather’s brother was able to come to Miami first as a missionary. He formed a church that is still alive and thriving today. My uncle Jose Manuel Vera served the Miami community in bringing the gospel for more than 50 years. He is the reason I am a believer today and has led thousands to Christ. For his life and sacrifice I am eternally grateful.⁣
⁣
My grandfather was able to come because of his brother. Although he had to leave my grandmother in Mexico for a year until he could secure safe passage for her and their three children. My grandmother had twin boys and my father all under age 5. Now here she is outside of her country alone and without my grandfather.⁣
⁣
The epitome of strength.⁣
⁣
At last my grandfather was able to send for his wife and children and all were reunited after a year in Mexico. They were poor but together and more than willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work.⁣
⁣
My grandfather worked in a factory and everyday he would come home with his hands full of ink that would never come off. My grandmother studied and started her own beauty salon from the house.⁣
⁣
The first and second generation of Cubans that landed on the shores of Miami have paved the way to make Miami the thriving city that we see today. These were immigrants that did not know the native language had no money but had a dream for More! They started business enterprises fought for fair labor laws and won. ⁣
⁣
Anyone that has ever been to Miami knows that it is special. It is a cultural meltingpot where people are accepted no matter their race ethnicity or economical background. A place where kids can hope to rise above their circumstances if they put in the work.⁣

Check out these new designs I’m working on! 😌⁣
⁣
Scoring is my favorite part of bread making.⁣ 🥳🥳💃🏻💃🏻
⁣
Sometimes I stick to the same pattern because I worry about what the customer will think if it does not come out well.⁣
⁣
But this time I let myself do whatever I felt and I am very happy with the result! ⁣
⁣
They may not always come out so good but hey that’s life.⁣
⁣
We try and try again.⁣
⁣
Learning to enjoy the process!!!⁣
⁣
You can find these beauties @buenaonda_cafe_staug with the talented @pipongasemisdad doing his thang and elevating the bread even more!!! 🔥⁣
