There are times as an artist and an event promoter where you question your why. This past year has had many of those moments, some that even challenged whether we should continue creating events. But today’s event filled us in ways we couldn’t have anticipated. It renewed our spirits AND reminded us why we do what we do with Cardboard Castle Productions. Thank you to the cast and our community for showing up, loving us, and allowing us to keep doing what we do. Here’s to continuing to find ways to make a big difference in small town. ❤️ #velma #dragqueen #soccermomselfies by @livingdevidaloca

When we were children I was her protector and playmate. Often our favorite game was Wonder Woman wherein I, as the oldest, insisted on being Wonder Woman and for her to be Wonder Girl.

In 2022 by pure chance, something I originally did for me, became about us, and then FOR her. Miss Continental had always been her “Miss America” and I was lucky enough that I got to be a small part of her dream of competing there coming true.

I have always known Marina was a star, since she was a child it just came out of her pores. What I have to work for as a performer comes as effortlessly as breathing to her. And now, thanks to @dragduel the rest of the world gets to find out how incredible an artist she is.

I couldn’t be prouder to be the Wonder Girl to her Wonder Woman as MY forever Miss Carolina’s Continental @lafeverztv star soars. #proudbrister #carolinagirls #dragduel by @livingdevidaloca
