Each student provides their own perspective on the topic: What does CIVIC mean for the body?

“For both of us, “place at ease” means being present—in flow, connected with mind, body and soul.
We realised we share the same space of ease: namely water. Not only physically, but also symbolically.
Water is soft and strong at once, it equalises, carries, and transforms.
It allows the body to float—to disappear and reconnect.
Together, we reflect on blind spots—those parts of reality or identity we often overlook.
As we float, reflect, and reimagine—held between softness and strength—a quiet resistance takes shape, and we begin to remember what it means to take up space” ©️ Magdalena

Laura’s and Sarah’s work explores the symbiosis between jewelry, accessories, and fashion — between digital and analog techniques — blurring boundaries through constant dialogue and material manipulation.

For this project, Place at Ease, Carla is creating a tactile and silent language to tell Norman’s story, where the Place at Ease is not a physical space, but an emotional state of inner balance and peace, reached through reflection and personal acceptance.
