Most people (myself included), assume when someone comes to us with a problem/ to vent, they want OUR opinion, but that’s not always the case. This advice has been a game changer for me both personally & professionally💭

Why is “thank you” so hard to say when receiving a compliment?!🙈

I think it’s that quote from Mean Girls that replays in my head: “So you agree? You think you’re really pretty?”🤣

Next time, I’m taking the advice I’d give anyone else & owning it! Saying “thank you”, full stop or “thank you, I worked hard on that!” And here’s your sign to do the same🫶
