Honestly, my stance is simple: whoever takes the governance, the real focus needs to be on Peshawar and KP’s overall improvement. “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change.”

My journey in the mental health and special education field began back in my 6th semester as an intern. Over the past 3 years growing from a student intern to now working professionally as an Individualized Program Plan (IPP) Lead every single interaction has reinforced one powerful truth: reaches milestones on a different timeline isn’t abnormal it’s uniquely human.

Speaking at World Mental Health Day 2026 was a deeply humbling experience. It was an absolute privilege to share this platform alongside distinguished senior professionals, respected leaders in the field, and esteemed guests, including representatives from the Women Chamber of Commerce.

A heartfelt thank you to Afredi Medical Complex (AMC), Ma’am Faryal, and Sir Shahjahan for organizing such an auspicious, beautifully arranged event and giving me the honor to contribute to this meaningful conversation.

When we listen without judgment and honor every individual’s pace, we create real change—in our classrooms, our workplaces, and our society. Here’s to celebrating every story, every voice, and every step forward!

We used to go with Mama and Baba for every single prayer, but after dinner, we’d stay behind. We’d spend the entire night there praying Tahajjud in the quiet hours, walking to Sahn-e-Shifa, and waiting for the morning flowers from the Imam’s shrine. Only after Fajr prayers and a quiet walk through the morning bazaar would we head back to our room for breakfast. 🕌🌸
It’s been 9 long years since those family nights, but when a follower recently sent me these night clips of the shrine, every single one of those memories came rushing back.
Seeing the soft night lights reflect off the Aina-kari and Kashi-kari reminded me that even from thousands of miles away, those sacred moments never truly leave you. Thank you to everyone who holds me in their prayers and sends a piece of these holy places back to me. 🤲🕊️
May everyone longing for this sukoon get to experience it soon.
