In August, we moved into our permanent church home!

Being a portable church taught me that God can do a lot with a little. He can truly make something out of nothing! For years, we have watched ordinary spaces become places where people met with God, and that season built something in us I never want to lose.

We moved here at 20, got married, started a family here, and have gotten to be part of God doing incredible things here.

I never want to forget what those years built in us or lose the gratitude for what we get to live in now.

SHOUTOUT to every coffee shop, school, community center, wedding venue, barn, living room, piece of land, and random space that became church for us.

None of those places looked like a church until the people showed up. 🤍

Today we celebrated the life of our Paw!

We are blown away by all the stories of impact we got to hear today from so many people.

Out of all the things said today, my favorite thing was someone walking up to Micah and saying “thank you for sharing your dad.”

And that’s exactly who he was. He was generous with his life, and it’s because he knew it wasn’t his own. His prize is Jesus.

Today we celebrated his life, experienced the presence of God, and had a crawfish boil afterwards. He was a gatherer and his life still gathers his people even now. Today feels like we won, because Heaven is real and God is near.

So thankful for the rich legacy that we have because of what Jesus has done through Mr. Steve. I am honored to be a Spinks. 🤍 taken in Biloxi, Mississippi by @livspinks
