PEOPLE LIKE US has been officially selected to screen at the 20th edition of UNRELEASED.

The story follows two siblings, Ebunoluwa and Oluwatobi, as they navigate insecurity, economic hardship, and uncertainty in Nigeria. Over the course of a day, their opposing views about staying, leaving, and the possibility of a better future are brought to the surface. But when a revelation exposes a painful truth, it forces them to confront not only the reality around them, but a betrayal that changes how they see each other.

I have been wanting to tell this story for a while and I am happy it is finally ready to be shared with you all.

People Like Us is a short film set in Ibadan, about the things that make us question home, the future we imagine, and the choices we make when life gives us very little certainty.

More details soon.🎬

A huge thanks to the cast and crew who brought this vision to life.
