Some random eats in Vietnam 🇻🇳

The food was SO good and Vietnamese food is some of my favourite. I do wish I experienced more of the street foods as they were delicious, but we did end up eating at more sit down restaurant vibes often just for convenience and them still being very cheap. I would say most meals averaged from £2-7
Simone did struggle to find anywhere that served veggie Pho, so i would take that into consideration if you’re going to vietnam and you’re veggie. Pho🍜🥣🥩 by @liza_eats

Morena, Belgravia 📍

Such a nice brunch spot in central! Right by Victoria so great spot to meet friends who are coming from outside of London. Gorgeous outside seating with lots of tables, perfect now the weather is getting nicer ☀️

We had the Crispy Chicken Sando and the Birria Beef Sandwhich and shared them, for drinks I had a decaf iced coffee with almond milk and vanilla syrup ( that’s a mouthful 🫣 ) and Jack had a iced chai. ☕️ by @liza_eats

The Langham, London 📍

Celebrated my mums retirement on Saturday at the Langham Hotel. We had the afternoon tea for 2. This came with a selection of sandwiches, endless tea ( I had about 5 cups )and lot of sweet treats. I didn’t think this would fill us up, but we even had to take some home! Loved the scones and jam, and the coronation chicken sandwich 🥪

The service was amazing and it was a lovely treat to experience 🧁 ☕️ by @liza_eats

We went to one of London ( or tik toks ) most hyped restaurants..

What did we order:

• Tortellini, truffle and kombu
• Church hill Chicken
• Cornish Skate Wing
• Hokkaido Milk Bread, Jam, Burnt Honey Butter
• Chicken Kaarage
• Namayasai Greens

And what did we think? 🤔

We both really liked the Church Hill Chicken, this was a really good portion size and the flavours were really good, the chicken thigh meat itself was also good quality. The bread is VERY hyped up, it was definitely nice and the butter and jam worked well. The tortellini was sooo yummy, I just wish there were more than 5 pieces, we could’ve eaten 3 more plates!! The greens were delicious and a good refreshing side, the sauce they came in was lovely. Unfortunately we didn’t love the skate wing, which is disappointing as it was the most expensive dish and we had high hopes!

The service and vibe were both really good, we booked a 5:30pm Friday so it was an early booking and I would expect it to get a lot busier as the night goes on. You can also watch the chefs making the pasta from fresh which is great

If I went again I definitely would like to try another pasta dish, the Angus ribeye on bone, and some of the raw fish!! 🤤 I would definitely recommend making a booking here by @liza_eats

Akara, Borough Yards📍

Yesterday we tried out Akara, in Borough yards. Akara is a blend of Nigerian and Brazilian cuisine. Akara is named after crispy bean fritters, similar to a savoury donut! These ones are a fusion between Nigerian Akara Osu and Brazilian Acarajé. 🇳🇬 🇧🇷

Our favourite out of the two Akara was definitely the beef, it was so delicious and the beef was full of flavours they came with a spicy dip as well which really complimented them.

For mains we had the grilled pork and the sea bream. I didn’t know what to except from the sea bream from seeing it on the menu, but it came in a broth / sauce that was full of flavour and worked really well!! 🦐 The pork portion size is really good, it was tender, and Jonny really enjoyed this!! We paired both of these with the Efik rice which again was the perfect amount for 2 people, it was buttery and full of flavour 🍚

Would definitely recommend it here! The food was amazing and great ambience, lots more I want to try!

I may not have been posting but I PROMISE I’ve been eating. I’m going to try start posting my eats again 🙏🏼

This was a 10/10 vibe, great service including a birthday shot and dessert. Food was so good and there’s so much more on their menu I wana try. They also have two sister restaurants I need to try!

Another visit to St Mary’s kitchen 📍 this weekend. 🤤

I had the jerk mac and cheese, the other plate is the jerk chicken leg n thigh with rice and peas and coleslaw.

We shared the festivals and the plantain 🇯🇲 plus 2 very strong Wray and nephew cocktails 🍹🍸 by @liza_eats

Yummy eats in bath today

• @nooktheshop for a bang bang chicken poke bowl 💥🍚 We also had their house orange juice, very nice but if I’m honest it is expensive!

• @knoopschocolate for the most insane hot chocolate. I had the iced vegan 54% with coconut milk, dreamy 🍫☕️ by @liza_eats

Prague eats and drinks 🇨🇿

•We went to Marina Ristorante which is a lovely restaurant on a boat, serving Italian food with City wide views on the river. Again, this was more pricy than traditional Prague cuisine but was really yummy!

•Highly recommend going to anonymous bar / anonymous shrinks office. Anonymous shrinks office offers photos of colourful art, you select the one you are most drawn to and they bring our suprise drinks based on psychoanalysis. 🎭 Both bars work out around the same price as a cocktail in UK, but definitely worth it for the experience. 🍸 🍹

•We tried the traditional chimney cake with Nutella in, this was personally really underwhelming and it tastes exactly as expected really 😅

•The beer museum is a definite must in Prague, included you get 3 drinks and a tour of the museum. 🍻 🍺

•There are so many bars and restaurants to try In Prague, including a lot of pretentious cafes ( the matcha was amazing ) and £1.50 beers of course 😋😋 by @liza_eats
