A little clip from one of my most recent projects “Letting Go” My character, Stacy, is a victim of domestic violence but finds hope through another woman who went through the same situation.
It was such an honor to play this character and such a pleasure to work with such a wonderful cast and crew.

Was so honored to be a part of the short film project “Letting Go” which premiered at a film festival in New York last week. I’m so grateful to the people I met and got to work with who created such a wonderful experience for me. by @lizajaneactor

I realized when filming my self-tapes I had a constant habit. Making sure my makeup looked even, my hair was styled right, and face looked “self-tape ready”. As time went on I came to realize I was too focused on how I looked to really embrace the character in the moment.
Recently, I got a self-tape request for a character that really didn’t require any makeup so I decided to challenge myself. And I was right. When I was able to focus less on my appearance I was able to embody the character and feel deeper. by @lizajaneactor

Loved working on this piece “Letting Go” about a character overcoming domestic violence. It was a beautiful thing to get to portray a character with this amount of depth. And I even got to do my own bruise!! Thank you so much to all the cast and crew for creating such a welcoming environment and amazing experience! by @lizajaneactor
