Hats off to the incredible artists and insanely passionate crew led by @nicolemlynczak who brought this conversation to life.

A salt lick is where animals gather for nourishment. The Salt Lick Incubator aims to be just that for emerging artists.

Beyond fortunate to work side by side with the visionary @rogerhbrownjr on this new adventure

@rogerhbrownjr gave me the opportunity of a lifetime: to support artists who we know are going to change the world. @salt_lick_incubator

I'm just out here in my "sparkling high-top sneakers" trying not to screw it up.

LADYGUNN caught up with @tinyhabits, @trousdalemusic, @singkirbysing, and @brittanydavismusic at this year's @newportfolkfest, and also sat down with Salt Lick President Liza Levy to talk about supporting emerging artists, the power of live music, and reimagining the Great American Songbook through "Songs of U.S."

We're so grateful to @ladygunn for highlighting Salt Lick's mission alongside such an inspiring group of artists and helping share the stories behind the music. ❤️

I have a bunch of recap coverage from this past weekend's Newport Folk Festival, including a conversation I had with Liza Levy, the President of the non-profit arts incubator Salt Lick, near the Quad Stage about a variety of different topics. Give it a listen at Culture Beat!!! -
