Lavender Festival at 123 Farms💜🪻
We all know that lavender is a very versatile plant, and very well loved, but here are some facts that maybe you didn’t know about our lovely plant friend, lavender:

🪻The ancient Egyptians made use of lavender during their mummification process, embalming the corpse with it as a sort of perfume.

🪻The ancient Greeks, on the other hand, used lavender to treat insomnia and ease back pain.

🪻During the Bubonic Plague in the 17th century, lavender was used as a remedy to ward off potential diseases.

🪻 This plant can actually thrive pretty well on neglect, especially in any poor soil conditions. (So maybe try growing some for yourself!)

🪻When it comes to plant symbolism, lavender represents purity, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness.

Another painting done! This one took significantly less time than the last one because it was definitely not as detailed as the previous one. However, I had so much fun with these little mushrooms!! 🍄 💫🩵 The colors on this were so fun, I’m really happy with how this one turned out. 🎨
Started February 11th and finished March 30th hehe

another painting done 🎨🌿🌷🌍🌌📚
I started this one in March of 2025, and finished it just after this New Year started. If you swipe through you’ll see how it progressed and where I stalled forever and then where I finally picked up momentum again!
Some people may have the opinion that paint by numbers isn’t really “painting” but I don’t care because it’s fun and I enjoy it. I sometimes change the shapes and/or colors if I don’t like what’s on the page and that’s where the fun happens. I’m starting another one soon and hopefully I finish it sooner than I did this one lol by @lizardqueen___
