whenever grammy would leave back for phoenix or whenever i would leave from phoenix back to missouri she would always tell me “don’t worry, i always come back” and even though it made me sad when she left i always knew she would come back. she’s not coming back to earth, i know that but i will see her again in heaven when i die and i am forever looking forward to that day when i get to see her smiling face again ready to share some drama. the hardest part is her not being able to come to my graduation like we planned or being able to help me get ready for my wedding. i always imagined she would be there for all of it, every milestone, but i am grateful for the 18 years she has stood by me everyday from day one. grammy was someone people could never forget even if they tried. she was my best friend in grandma form. i am honored to carry a piece of her with me wherever i go by the spunkiness we share and the love for shopping and kenny chesney. forever and always grammy, i love you by @lizbro17
