✨ LEGACY SHOOT: 1996 → 2026 ✨
Some gowns are more than fabric and lace.

They hold memories, milestones, and the stories of the women who wore them.

This preserved wedding gown was originally purchased in Spring 1996 from an upscale bridal salon in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. It was the very first gown Michelle tried on. After trying many others, she returned to this one because its beautiful lace sleeves reminded her of her mother’s wedding dress.

Nearly 30 years later, Michelle is still happily married and chose to donate her gown so its story could continue.

Yesterday, through our Garment Library Legacy Shoot, we revealed the gown and photographed it with Mrs. Pennsylvania American @sarah.e.arriaga , proving that timeless beauty never goes out of style.

This is what the Runway Recycled (@shoprunwayrecycled ) Garment Library is all about:
♻️ Preserving fashion history
👰 Honoring the women who came before us
📖 Adding new chapters to a garment’s story
💕 Making beautiful garments accessible to future generations

Some garments will remain in our library to be borrowed, rented, and loved. Others may be paid forward to a bride beginning her own chapter.
