The most incredible experience yesterday with the Chicago Bulls!! ✨

Designing a hat for them has long been a dream of mine. Yesterday really felt like the culmination of years of hard work coming full circle as a Chicago artist.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support. 🥹 I truly could not do this without you and really felt the love.

Very excited to be debuting a new painting this weekend at @allstarpresschicago for the group show “Threads Between Us”.

The show features a stellar all female roster and explores themes around lineage and connection.
I won’t be able to make the opening but I do hope you’ll go see the work in person 👀

My latest mural in Chicago celebrating 10 years of the Bloomingdale Trail!

This location really meant a lot to me. The mural is very much inspired by my running journey that started this year and I can’t tell you how many times I run on the 606 past this exit. There are multiple figures passing each other, drawing inspiration from the feeling of seeing friends on the trail as you run by and giving a nod or a wave.

New print aaaand new mural coming up 👀🚨

My print for the Bloomingdale Trail is currently available at @allstarpresschicago! This year I started running again, and decided to train for the Chicago half marathon that happened in June. The place that became my main training ground was the Bloomingdale Trail (the 606). I’ve run the entire trail numerous times now and can still remember how difficult my first run was, and how things improved as months went by. This print is inspired by that journey of self improvement, all because of the opportunities this trail provides.

The print contains two figures passing each other, drawing inspiration from the fun feeling of seeing friends on the trail.🤗

I’m extraaaa excited that this print will become a mural along the 606! Catch the mural coming to life rn on Western Ave thanks to the @allstarpresschicago crew!

Meet Liz Flores, one of the four featured artists behind Perspectives of Place, the newest exhibition in our Beyond the Grid art series.

A Chicago-based painter and muralist, Liz creates expressive works inspired by identity, memory, womanhood, and the everyday human experience. Through bold abstract figures and fluid compositions, her paintings encourage viewers to find pieces of their own story within each work.

Now on view alongside artists Cheri Charlton, Carina Vargas Nunez, and Amy Donaldson, Perspectives of Place transforms Fairmont Chicago’s lobby and the Chicago Pedway into an immersive gallery that explores how people, places, and community shape the way we experience the world around us.

Had a staycation at the Fairmont as part of their new art series Beyond the Grid, a rotating art program of contemporary art installations. Excited to have two of my works in the lobby rn ✨ stay tuned because we’ll be doing a panel talk in the Fall with the other stellar artists in this cohort.

Introducing Perspectives of Place, the newest exhibition in the Beyond the Grid art series. Featuring works by Liz Flores, Cheri Charlton, Carina Vargas Nunez, and Amy Donaldson, the exhibition explores how identity, memory, community, and the city of Chicago shape our understanding of place.

Now on display, Perspectives of Place spans from our hotel lobby into the Chicago Pedway, inviting guests, commuters, and the wider community to experience art beyond traditional gallery walls—and discover new ways of seeing the city around them.

Debuting today in London. My painting for the group show “La Matiére Du Rêve” at @dorothycircus.

This painting is my first one made after the loss of my grandmother.

It is inspired by fleeting moments when I forget. Moments at the family party when i look for her face among the tables to see where she’s sitting and realize she isn’t here. A sunset is in the distance and I purposefully chose a simple white calla lily as a focal point.
