Two weeks at @loghavenartistresidency ❤️ I strongly believe that being relaxed allows you to take risks with your work. Everything here is so beautifully taken care of. I am truly able to immerse myself in making work…immerse myself in finding objects for my work.. and immerse myself in the landscape. A few glimpses of my space to create…dream…relax…and savor for the next six weeks. The setting is stunning, the people are phenomenal. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to immerse myself in my work in this incredible place. Going to do my best to tune out some of the outside noise and be fully present in this place. Walked away from Peddlers Mall in Somerset, KY with a bunch of fabulous items to weave…and, earlier in the day, learned that the sweet town of Lawrenceburg (at least the one I visited 🤣) is actually in Indiana and not Ohio…which means that I still need to claim an item from Ohio on the trip home 🤪🤦🏻‍♀️ Arrived safely in the greater Knoxville, TN area tonight, and arrive at the residency tomorrow. I’ll still be online some in the coming weeks…but hopefully not too much 🤣 Looking forward to meeting the other artists and staff at Loghaven…getting settled in…and getting to work ❤️ #lizmillerartist by @lizlenoremiller

We finally made it to @kavoitalianeatery (I know, it’s taken us a while, we don’t get out much 🤣) Delicious—we’ll be back! Going to miss @stylefarmer while I’m traveling. For more than two decades now as an artist couple, we’ve cheered each other on in art pursuits…commiserated about art things that don’t work out…and celebrated big when art things do work out. He’s always encouraging me to dream big. I’m so lucky ❤️ #datenight by @lizlenoremiller

My four year old niece Hadley is big into jigsaw puzzles 🧩(check out that concentration, she assembled this hundred piecer in no time!), …always brings the big energy…and is going to be a big sister soon! Which means I am going to be an aunt x2 when we add a nephew to the mix in 2027! 🎉So fun celebrating with my family today. Congratulations Abby and Andrew!!! And Hadley: You are going to be the best big sister 💗 by @lizlenoremiller
