Shoutout to every nyc apartment I’ve ever lived in, from the shoeboxes to the ones flooded with sunlight. S/O to Greenpoint. And that little restaurant that lets me camp out just for freshly squeezed orange juice and a coffee. S/O to whoever squeezes those oranges. S/O steaming mugs. S/O caffeination without anxiety. And neighborhood bars that feel like living rooms. S/O to live music and the people feeling it inside them. To laughing and @martinurbanojr absurdity and good writing. S/O to random roommates and Fernet and cards at 8am, to coworkers that become friends, and the selfies I’ll look back on one day when I’m raisin-ing. S/O to people wearing art on their skin and fortune cookie wisdom (I always have to eat it before I read it). S/O to exploring, be it physically or mentally.. and never taking that wild ride for granted. And finally, S/O to the little signs life gives you. To knowing it’s sketch but turning right anyways. by @lizz4short
