Come see me painting outside high up and down low @spiritpgh Spirit Walls all next week alongside some incredible talent and helping hands. The wall is gonna be SICK.

Then I’ll be posted up at @spiritpgh for Summer Recess, which is the only pop-up vending event I’m doing this season. Music, art, food, drink, *all that* awaits you next Sat 8/23 at Spirit 💗

Lastly, I’ve been holding out on sharing some other exciting developments in the studio, so keep your 👀 peeled!

PS: I SWEAR these damn social posts take longer to make than sharing on my Story, and they seem harder to construct than the signs I paint for work 🤡

Made this special map for my Dad @solomon8891 - my biggest inspiration. Later this month, he’s flying to Germany to embark on an epic adventure. First, he’ll be swimming the Bodenseequerung swim across Lake Constance (Bodensee). Then, he’s cycling the perimeter of the lake, hitting villages in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland along the way. He has been training for this trip, and has even started a blog for the journey.

My dad has shown me the importance of hard work, dedication, and following your dreams. He’s a superhero, and I wanted him to know that we’re cheering him on all the way. I’m so very proud of you! Love you so much! 💗

Over a month ago, I finished this piece entitled No Music by using scrap laser cut acrylic pieces from Lizzee Solomon and a record for an exhibition, Stop, Collaborate and Listen which opens tonight at Associated Artists of Pittsburgh with Creative Citizens Studios. I was inspired by the record which was entitled No Music, and I imagined what existence would be like without it.

Earlier this month, additional meaning was added to this art with the death of my highschool band director, John Marszalek, known affectionately as M. Over a quarter of our school was involved with band, thanks to his incredible leadership. I drew during his funeral and the alumni concert as I reflected on how grateful I am to M and his legacy. May we never experience a world without music. taken in General McLane High School by @lizzeemash

Visit me at Lucky Number Booth 13 at @handmadearcade this weekend! (First aisle, right-hand side of the big room at the David Lawrence Convention Center near the back). I’ve been a busy bee getting ready for the biggest market of the year. I have colorful works for the wall, household accessories, and tree ornaments - perfect for gifting! I don’t often do markets, so I treat this like a mini Art Basel - folks who come and visit my booth #13 this weekend may find themselves eligible to win an exclusive one-off work of art I made this past year. Gotta come out to see what’s up…

Ticketed VIP event is Fri 12/6 evening and the Big Day Shopping Spree is this Sat 12/7. Tons of amazing small businesses to support, tons of free activities and hands-on crafting tables from community orgs, and it’ll be warmer in there than it is outside. Hope to see yinz there! 😎
