Art tucked into every alley corner 🎨✨

Spent a cozy autumn afternoon exploring the Yangnim Alley Biennale! Walking through Yangchon-gil and discovering open-air installations woven into historic Hanoks, brick courtyards, and quiet streets felt so peaceful.

⏳ Reminder: It runs only until October 31, so make sure to take a stroll before it ends!

Afterwards, we crossed over the bridge into Dong-gu to catch the live music at the Gwangju Busking World Cup by the ACC 🎶

골목 구석구석 스며든 예술 🎨✨

양림골목비엔날레를 둘러보며 아늑한 가을 오후를 보냈어요! 양촌길을 따라 걸으며 고즈넉한 한옥과 벽돌 안마당, 조용한 골목길 곳곳에 자연스럽게 녹아든 야외 설치 작품들을 발견하는 시간이 정말 평화로웠습니다.

⏳ 전시 기간: 10월 31일까지만 진행되니, 끝나기 전에 꼭 한번 산책해 보세요!

그 후에는 다리를 건너 동구로 이동해 ACC에서 열린 광주 버스킹 월드컵의 라이브 음악도 즐겼답니다 🎶

Weekend in Busan! 🌊✨

Taking a quick break from campus life in Gwangju, we hopped on the bus to Busan for a weekend packed with color, coastal views, and incredible food.

Highlights from our trip:
🎨 Gamcheon Culture Village: Getting lost in the pastel alleys, climbing the painted book stairs, and spotting charming street art at every turn.
🏖️ Haeundae & Gwangalli Beaches: Walking along sunny Haeundae, finding cozy cafes with bridge views, and catching night fireworks by the water.
🥢 Food & Gatherings: Sharing endless plates of kimbap, street bites, and grilling K-BBQ together after long days of walking.

One of the best parts of exchange life at CNU is making memories like these with both local and international friends. Where should we head next? 🚆🤍

Standing on top of Gwangju. ⛰️🌾

Conquered Mudeungsan with @kople_jeolla! Autumn hasn’t quite arrived yet with these warm 26°C sunny days, but the endless silver grass, clear skies, and panoramic views made every single step of the climb worth it.

Nothing brings people together quite like reaching a summit like this side by side. 🇰🇷✨

One month in Gwangju, endless memories made. ✨🇰🇷

Highlights from my first month:

🪷 Trip to Buyeo with Kople:
Traveled to the historic city of Buyeo with @kople_jeolla, a travel community uniting local and international students. From an open-air concert on Buddhist temple grounds to visiting poet Shin Dong-yeop’s museum, quirky retro post office spots, and wearing hanbok, it was the perfect cultural journey.

🌕 Chuseok Traditions & Warm Welcomes:
Celebrated my very first Chuseok through university events, wearing an elegant hanbok with @chonnam_oia and experiencing a peaceful traditional tea ceremony with live Korean instrument performances. I was especially touched to be invited by students of the Global MBA to share a festive Chuseok dinner together at a local Korean restaurant, making the holiday feel so warm and like home.

🌿 Exploring Gwangju:
Settling into daily life right here, wandering through the local craft village and discovering the powerful historical murals across campus that share Gwangju’s story.

Taking that first step abroad always comes with anticipation, but diving into every trip, holiday dinner, and cultural workshop makes every single day memorable.
Here’s to many more adventures this semester! 🤍

골목마다 신나는 음악이 울려 퍼진 동명동 마칭밴드 공연의 현장! 🎺✨ ACC 5.18 민주광장에서부터 거리 곳곳을 채운 생생한 에너지를 15초 릴스에 꽉 담아봤어요. 광주 동구의 특별한 분위기, 함께 즐겨봐요! 🎶

Was für eine Stimmung in Dongmyeong-dong! 🎺✨ Die Marching-Band hat von dem 5.18-Platz am ACC aus die Straßen zum Klingen gebracht. Schnapp dir 15 Sekunden und tauch ein in die Energie von Dong-gu! 🎶

Какая невероятная атмосфера на улицах Тонмён-дона! 🎺✨ Марширующий оркестр устроил настоящее шоу, начав прямо с площади 5.18 возле Азиатского культурного центра (ACC). Ловите вайб района Тон-гу в этом 15-секундном рилсе! 🎶
