Introducing The Rebirth Project

Behind behind every crown, every smile, and every community, there are stories that often go untold. Across the globe, millions of women quietly endure the heavy burdens of gender-based violence, discrimination, and mental trauma.

To bridge the gap between survival and true renewal, Safe House for Justice and Human Empowerment Center, in collaboration with @lizzieonofe Elizabeth James (Miss Tourism & Culture - Nigeria 2026) @queen_of_queens_pageant is proud to introduce The Rebirth Project.

This community-based initiative aims to provide safe spaces for healing, emotional recovery, human rights education, and practical livelihood opportunities starting with its pilot project in Jos, Plateau State.

Understanding the Reality of Gender-Based Violence:

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly 1 in 3 women (approx. 30–35%) worldwide have experienced physical and/or sexual violence in their lifetime.

The National Demographic and Health Survey (NDHS) reports that 33% of Nigerian women aged 15–49 have experienced physical or sexual violence.

In local community research, 62.6% of women of reproductive age reported experiencing Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), while ongoing conflict and social dynamics continue to heighten vulnerability and silence survivors across Plateau state.

We can rebuild lives.
Healing is possible, and change begins when we stand up for one another.

Join us in spreading awareness for mental health, human rights, and survivor support.

Every step tells a story. Every stride carries purpose. Walking with confidence, grace, and intention. #CatwalkQueen #ConfidenceInMotion #mentalhealthinjos #theboldwoman #lizzieonofe by @lizzieonofe

There’s a purpose behind the crown, a story behind the woman, and a responsibility beyond the spotlight. ✨

I’m learning that true beauty is not just about how we present ourselves, but about what we choose to stand for, who we choose to uplift, and the change we are willing to create.

Through The Rebirth Project, I’m committed to using my platform to support survivors of domestic violence and vulnerable girls through healing, empowerment, creativity, and renewed hope. 🤍

This is more than a title.
It’s a purpose.
It’s a journey.
It’s RE BIRTH. 🌱

Grace in my presence, purpose in my crown, and royalty in my spirit. 💜

I do not simply wear the crown; I honour the responsibility it carries. A Queen by title, a woman of purpose by choice. ♛

Beyond the noise, the hustle, and the strength we show every day, many Nigerians are simply tired and carrying more than we see.

As we celebrate, let’s remember to check on one another. Ask, “How are you?” and genuinely listen.

May we build a Nigeria where we don’t just survive, but have room to breathe, heal, and hope again.
