POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

♍ Virgo is for revisiting, refining, redefining. So, I'm bringing a griff that's been hibernating for a while - Lizzie's Griffs the pod! While I'm composting the content of the first two episodes, it's feeling aligned to share an episode I collaborated on with @kenneco .

We touched on a range of astrological topics like affinities with particular planets/signs, how planets and the cosmos shift consciousness, transits like Saturn returns and Mars’s current journey through the sign of Cancer, and more.

And then we played a board game 😆

a bit of Abiding, which I released into the world the last days that Jupiter ⚡ was in the last degrees of ♊ (8 ⚔️ swords decan). Writing this one helped me heal a broken heart after a real rupture in a friendship

We worked it out though ❤️‍🩹 by @lizzies_griffs

Every few months I come across these awkwardly stapled sheets of old scratch paper, my 10-year-old self's first attempt to sketch out the circle by heart. She hadn't quite gotten there yet but I'm proud of her for sticking with it. Cause it sure is interesting to play with and it's become a cool part of my astrological explorations - 12 keys, 12 zodiac signs. I can't help but admire how the elegance between these systems teach me, play with me, help me explore sound, and the sky.
And while we're admiring beautiful things, here's a 10/10 loaf 🍞 by @lizzies_griffs

Solar return 2026, timelord Saturn cazimi edition.

it felt appropriate to drop Maxim, my lil pop song about death, on bandcamp for this birthday. As I cross the threshold of one Saturnian profection year into another, I can’t think of a more appropriate time to contemplate the revolutions we make around our star during the little blip of our time on earth... Wild 🪐

BUT actually when I started writing this one in collaboration with the Judgment card a couple of years ago, it wasn’t the number of revolutions on MY own timeline I was considering… it was that of the evil, horrid people who 1) I’ve discovered are even more evil and horrid than I knew at the time and 2) continue in their efforts to make life miserable for the majority of people ALL OVER THE EARTH while they enrich themselves.
The Mother****ers.

Anyway, if you’ve found yourself thinking longingly about a certain someone or others' demise, you may enjoy shaking tail to this tune. Whenever it actually happens, I wanna throw a party and I’m definitely gonna bump this song.

bandcamp link in bio, check it out! and if you wanna give me something for my birthday, a follow over there make a great 🎁 😏...

Or #rva come check out @finfeathermusic @dilemmasva and @prabirrva on Sunday night at @banditoslounge.rva Gonna be a dope show ✨ by @lizzies_griffs

"How beautiful do the words have to be before they conquer every heart?
If I came back as a dolphin would you listen to me then?
Would you let me be your friend?
Would you let me in?"

Thank you, Prince, for the perfect Mercury in Pisces soundtrack. And many other things, too.

What questions and explorations are most relevant to us in 2026, given its astrological and energetic flavors?

This year, I invited artist and astrologer Mara Smith @lizzies_griffs to discuss the arc of the coming year.

2026 completes the outer planets’ transition into new signs.

It also features:

🔮 The Saturn-Neptune conjunction, which happens approximately every 36 years
🔮 The nodal axis shifting into Aquarius-Leo
🔮 Jupiter moving into Leo

Mara and I weaved a unique analysis that divides the year into 3 equal parts, inspired by Mara’s focus on the decans in her practice.

Mara Smith is an artist who enjoys playing at the intersections of mythic time, clock time, and synchronicity in mundane reality. An educator by trade and lifelong musician, under the musical project finfeather she blends genres to create a wide variety of songs, many of which are hymns planets, archetypes, and the decans of the tarot. Her astrological self is currently materializing in a flirtatious experiment with an alter ego, Lizzie, a devoted student of timelord, Saturn. Mara brings Lizzie’s griffs, or creations, to life through music, poetry, prose, contemplations and conversations with the many divine individuals she is fortunate to know in community near and far.
