Welcome to, Project Light🪔

It is official now, I'm writing my own book😱

What to expect:
A thrilling Christian fantasy story with flawed characters. Made up countries and enemies. And a veeery slow slow burn...

As I just started there is a chance that some of the tropes will be removed or added👀

The aesthetic matched the scenes I have already written😊

For now I'm gonna give updates on my Booksta account. I am still contemplating if I should do an author account or not.

Other updates are coming!
Such as;
° The characters
° The countries

In the meantime ask me anything (that doesn't contain spoilers lol)

Let's see how similar our taste is!📚

I am aware that I have chosen a lot of books😅👀
I simlpy could not choose😂

Let me know what your score is!😊
If I have calculated it correctly the top score = 240

PS: and because these are books I read and loved, I decided to put my most listened song from 2025, which is also the intro song from my favorite show (Go watch The Chosen, go!🏃‍♀️‍➡️)

Updated 'get to know the Bookstagrammer'😁📚

Because a lot of new people has found my little corner (Hi and welcome👋🏻)
I decided to give you an updated version to get to know me😁

Hi! I'm Lizzie, 22 years old and lives in Belgium. I am a devoted Christian since my 18th, and I learn to love, follow and trust my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ everyday more and more.

I am a reader of Christian and spice-free books.
Which was the best decision EVER❤️
As a reader and reviewer I never thought that I would be asked to review books for authors (thank you!🥹)

I love books, obviously, but one of my faves are:
♡ A lady's guide to marvels and misadventure
♡ A time to die
♡ Neverending mercy (which started my clean books journey)
♡ The class she skips
♡ Up from dust
I love a lot of different genres, but these are the ones that I will always go back to; fantasy, dystopian and biblical fiction. And a more recent discovery, historical fiction. Of course I love a romance once in a while😁

I am currently studying to become a social worker and hoping to graduate in June 2027 (almost, or soon)

You wouldn't know me well without knowing that I am a big fan of The Chosen🤭, I even love to listen to their soundtrack while studying, but then I love a lot of movie soundtrack to make my school journey an adventure🎶

Recently rediscovered climbing after I had to temporarily quit with fencing😕😊 Even though I love climbing, I do miss fencing a lot and I hope to pick it up again once I graduate.

Do we have anything in common?

Book review!📚
A portrait of loyalty
(Serie - The codebreakers: 3)
By @roseannamwhite
Quotes:"New structures are all well and good, but we must take care not to destroy our very foundations."

Review:
Oh my, this book😍
You experience every emotion with this book. Like it has it's light moments, such as the photography, but the hard moments are punches in my gut!

I loved Lily and Zivon as a couple!
The ending of this book and therefore of the serie was perfect!

I Can't wait to start reading more books by her!

(It's WW1 and not WW2, oops🫣)

Content:
* WWI
* Death/ murder
* Bombing

Book review!📚
The one who loves me
(Serie - Sovereign love: 2)
By @joannywhite
Quotes: "God will shine His light in my darkness. He will give me clarity."

I loved this book so much! The amount of quotes I underlined is criminal👀

The way Amara and Raymond felt so real and were also so relatable.
And let me tell you, Raymond is the best! He's such a golden retriever🥰

The lessons in this book was also so endearing and encouraging.

So glad I finally read it😃

I minimalized my Goodreads 'want to read list'👀

Yes. You heard it right. I almost had 400 books on there that I wanted to read! I am going to be honest, this wasn't doing any good for me😅

I felt overwhelmed by all the options, I simply did not know what to buy next and if I bought a new book, it was one I was recently excited for. And thus all those '399' other books were being ignored.

While I was looking through my list, I even found books on there that I entirely forgot I saved it🫣👀

When I decided to delete more than half of my 'want to read list' I chose carefully which books I actually WANTED to read soon-ish. In that case I am actually planning to read the book faster (or I hope😂)

The 'to buy soon-ish' shelf is deleted and everything is back on the original shelf.

With that being said, it's not because a book isn't on my list right now, that I'm not excited to read it.

My goal was 30 books on the list - it's already at 40😅
(So minimum 30 (less is also fine) and maximum 40😉)

Even though I'm focusing on my physical TBR and therefore put myself on a book buying ban (BBB)
I can't wait to buy those new books😁

Which book(s) are you excited to buy next?
