Celebrating the 4th of July weekend and the 250th year of our country 🇺🇲 was one for the books.

We had a fun girls trip to Oklahoma. Fried pie atTurner Falls, the lake,shopping, movies(Toy Story 5 🥹) a torrential downpour. My son inlaw was our hero by getting the car for us🩷

We had a couple of new cool experiences. Attended service at Life Church (at the movies series) and a baptism. Not your traditional church or baptism experience, but the message is still the same! The Holy Spirit was very much present in all of us, as we were all crying the best tears of Joy🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🩷🩷🩷

I absolutely love spending time with my girls!🩷🩷🩷

SHE DID IT‼️

My sweet baby girl has graduated and VERY well decorated‼️ Graduating Kum lad,Honors and a couple more achievements.

We are so PROUD of our baby girl‼️

Praise God and so thankful for the many blessings and favor he has bestowed upon her.
Juggling everything for all 4 years. School, work,choir, theater, wrestling, volleyball, volunteering, being a youth leader at church and at DCYC, all while maintaining high grades, a good attitude and a smile (most days). This is no easy feat! And it would not have been possible with out our faith and God's grace to help her manage it all. I am confident she will be just fine in college.

Although we will miss her dearly. I am ready for her to spread her wings to new horizons and see what else she will do!

There is so much happening literally at the speed of light!
After over 30 years of volunteering, and chaparoning all of my girls events it has all come to an end.

I couldn't think of a better way of ending my chaperoning years, than with the Plano West Choir trip to Disney World, Universal and Universal Epic!!! I had a great time with these kids. They were kind, courteous, well behaved and full of fun! Most of all, my baby girl being the sweetest and still wanting me around!🩷

Came back to a steady stream of end of school activities. Choir performance, and 3 banquets. It was all bittersweet and enjoyed every minute of it. There was a lot, but with that came many opportunities to be greatful!

EASTER.....I Love this time of year. Easter is such a busy but BEAUTIFUL season! It gives me so much joy seeing and participating in all of the church celebrations for the resurrection of our Lord and savior, and to all that have come to believe🙏🏻

This year we celabrated at St. Mark the evangelist, which was great experiencing the traditions of another church. We

celebrated with a faithful heart with our yearly Easter Vigil on Saturday evening that lasted 3 1/2 hours, partly because there were over 40 Baptisms/confirmations. It was so emotional seeing so many walking into a new faithfull life!🩷

The last two years we have celebrated in the tradition of the Easter Triduum, which is the three-day liturgical celebration marking the summit of the Christian year, commemorating the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus🙏🏻

Our family tradition on Easter Sunday brunch at Blue Mesa. If you haven't been it's definitely a to do at least once. We normally go home afterwards and have our indoor Easter egg hunt, and then sleep off our food coma! 🤣Probably the only day that we actually rest! This year we didn’t have the time to hide them for our grandson, so straight to nap we went😴 a great ending to another great day!

I hope everyone had a great Easter amidst all of the organized chaos. Next year take a breath and stop a moment to think about what this season is truly about and not how perfect things should be. It's impossible and unrealistic. What you see on IG is not always what's true. It took me many years to come to the realization tha life is not perfect. So, I understand how hard that is, but it's about taking small steps that end up making great strides!

Well....This is a heck of a way to start spring break! Spending time in a really expensive hotel room! 🤣

We have been at the hospital ER since around 7 ish. so much has happened, but I am so proud of her. When I picked her up, she had already packed an overnight bag, just incase 🩷

Talk about getting catapulted to adulting! She filled out all her intake forms on her own. After the initial triage room, she was taken back for blood work and the sono and MRI on her own. I just stood back and waitedwhen she needed me.

She has gallstones and has a blockage. She will be having surgery sometime tomorrow morning. I figure the surgeon will talk to us before tye surgery.

Please pray for us and her medical team. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🩷🩷🩷

A typical busy day off for me at this season of my life. Balancing my health, fitness, a little self care and my family is no easy feat!

I started my day with an 8:00 am PT appointment for my knees. A 2nd doctor appointment for my migraine disease, a haircut appointment, ran home to throw in a load of laundry. Had a late lunch date with my hubby. Ran an errand before picking up my baby girl after school for an MRI for her knee ( she injured it at wrestling) dropped her off at work and headed to the gym.

Dinner, pick up daughter from work and a stop at Walmart for some teen essentials.

Meal prepped for the next day, threw in another load of laundry and fed the pups. Did a little research on college stuff and finally getting ready for bed, but not before prayer time with my husband and finally climbing into bed for my personal prayer time.

Can anyone else out there that can identify with me? Let me know!

What a way to start out the month March!

This weekend was full of joy, love, pain and triumph.

I just want to share what it looks like to try new things, power through and don't give up on yourself !!!!

My daughter's friend was unable to come down for the Fort Worth Cowtown Race, and she was so sweet and gracious to give me her ticket.

Thank you Sydney!
Hopefully we can do it together next year!

We started out Friday by attending the expo with my granddaughter 💓and picked up some freebies, great Vietnamese coffee and an incredible tens unit😁

My daughter and I participated in my first 10K run. I didn't run it though. I have some physical restraints that primarily affected my ability to actually run it. My fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis in my knees( I'vebeen in physicaltherapysince Octoberand gettingbetter). BUT, I did it!!! We walked it at a good pace and troted the last block or so. That's really all I could muster with fibro toe pain (intermittently since shortly after mile 3) and left knee pain.
WE FISHED 25 MIN. AHEAD OF TIME!!! Not too shaby for this old girl 😉

It was a nice route through a nice neighborhood with lots of updated and or rebuilt homes. Nice families supporting the runners with signs, cheering and handing out water and pickle slices!

It is so special to have my first born by my side always supporting, inspiring, and believing in me. Thank you for being there for me and crossing the finish line by my side, I love you!🩷🩷🩷

Many of you don't know my health struggles, but that is a story for another day.

Starting this Lenten season with a repentant heart though the three pilars of our faith. Prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

A week full of love and joy. A late night mass with my sisters in Christ, Ash Wednesday the beginning of a Lenten season. A picture opportunity with Bishop Burns at DCYC and starting one of three things I'm doing for Lent.

February was s good start and picking up steam.

1. Time spent with my sisters in Christ! We had a great time eating, praying and making Rosaries! I haven't finished mine🫢 the creative and perfectionist got the best of me. As well as life getting in the way.

2. My Christmas tree turned year round holiday tree🤣🤣

3. Our new office manager was so sweet and brought us all s box of chocolates and a red rose for Valentines Day 💝 I enjoy decorating my space/front.

4. A very yummy befitting esthetic Valentines Day cappuccino during our break at the UD coffee shop 😋

February is almost over and Lent is well on it's way. Come back and see what's next!
