Happy Birthday to my one and only son, my greatest blessing, my biggest accomplishment, and the love of my life.

From the moment I had you at 18 years old, my entire world changed. We grew up together in so many ways. Every decision I made, every sacrifice, every late night, every tear, every victory—it was all for you. Being your mom has been the greatest honor of my life.

People may have their opinions, but what matters is that I gave you everything I had and everything I am. I worked hard, stood on my own two feet, and made sure you knew you were loved beyond measure. I wanted you to experience life, to dream big, and to know that no matter what happens in this world, you will always have a mother who believes in you.

You are my heart walking around outside of my body. There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you, and there is no distance I wouldn’t travel to help you. I would stand beside you through every storm and celebrate every success. Before anyone else in this world, you will always be my baby.

Watching you become the man you are today fills me with so much pride. You are kind, strong, smart, handsome, and capable of anything you set your mind to. Never let anyone dim your light or distract you from your purpose. Protect your heart, know your worth, and remember that the right people will always respect and value the incredible person you are.

No matter how old you get, you’ll always be that little boy who made me a mom and gave my life its greatest meaning.

Ever since I was a little girl in fourth grade, watching the movie Fools Rush In with my parents at the theater, I always dreamed my life would turn out like that. Deep down, I just knew somehow I would meet my match in Vegas. I always imagined he’d be white and I’d be the one teaching him all about the Latin culture 😂💃🏽

Little did I know… this man is somehow more Mexican than me 😭🇲🇽❤️

But here we are — completely happy, completely in love, and finally moving into our beautiful condo together. A spontaneous love story that neither one of us expected, but both of us needed.

And to everyone watching, hating, judging, or refusing to even give us a like… it’s okay. We understand pain because we’ve both battled depression and hard times ourselves. Life humbles people in different ways.

But to everyone who truly congratulated us and showed us love — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It meant more than you know. This moment was special, real, unexpected, and filled with love.

One year since I met the love of my life. ❤️ We’ve faced a robbery, lost our cars and our home, and started over in Las Vegas with my son.
