Today’s fun game is a clot in my arm and sepsis. My arm is sooooo painful. I tried to find alternatives to A&E but I couldn’t. Coming in on a Friday night is even more stupid than usual. Trauma times 100. The worst bit was when a doc tried to cannulate the tiny arteries in my wrist. The IV nurse today was horrified. I didn’t let them try thank god. When I got here there were double layers of patients in beds, beds in front of beds and adhoc seating for acute patients which was full as well. Today has been ok lots of nice staff looking after me. Anyway I am just going to keep my head down until Monday… ⁣

If this doesn’t make you cry nothing will. After having a 40.3c temp last night I am coming home with some antibiotics, but somewhere I have lost my purse so I didn’t have any money to get home so a nurse gave me £10 out of her own pocket to get me out of there. It has been a bit of a rollercoaster today but at least it ended on a high. by @lizzyrosequartz

I am going home soon. Just as well because I have started seeing doggo’s in the hospital furniture… by @lizzyrosequartz

I am in my specialist hospital, I came in hospital transport on Monday. I am very grateful, things make more sense here. ⁣

On reflection there were some big problems with my local hospital. I hope this isn’t reflected everywhere. Everyone is tired. ⁣

Anyway, this post is partly in praise of my ankles which I haven’t seen for a while and celebrating painting your nails badly 💅 🙌 ⁣
