surreal.

man… i don’t even know where to start. took me a minute to write this man. I’m just completely GRATEFUL for the fact that I went on a legendary run with my dawgs these last 5 years. The level of dedication and commitment we brought each year led to 3 straight years of championship success, etching ourselves into Loyola history. I thank God for allowing me to stay healthy throughout all 5 years.

I’m proud of myself for continuing to believe in my work. Working day in and day out was how I kept my confidence. 3 years of championships later and 1,000 points later, look at where the work has gotten me.

I thank God for allowing my family to be at every single game, even the last one. The unwavering support never went unnoticed, and I always heard y’all in the crowd.

I want to thank @jai_day_327 for opening up the opportunity to get to play at this prestigious university. You stuck your neck out for me when I was a senior in high school. Without you, I don’t think this run would’ve been possible.

I also want to thank all of the coaches who coached me here at Loyola. My career here as a student-athlete has been truly a blessing and it wouldn’t have been possible without y’all.

Lastly, I want to thank my teammates. My brothers. It’s been a hell of a run. Wouldn’t trade these past 5 years for anything else in the world. The brotherhood we created here has made these years nothing but special and I will forever remember the memories that we shared.
