Snow Machine '26 What a week... By far my biggest week of DJing to date. Played my largest stage yet (albeit to the one of the smallest crowds possible). Played several packed out nights at @localqueenstown - the 'Snow Machine Saloon'. Threw down some filthly DnB at the @georgefmnz Container Rave. Thank you for having me @snowmachinefest ๐Ÿ™ What a show you put on, there's really nothing quite like it. And it was so good to see the festival and @georgefmnz supporting so many of our local artists! These videos are only a snippet of the week's chaos, too. I also ran a @rinsedstrictlydnb with @inertia_nz at @yonderqt. I hosted @opendecks_qt with @risk_dj on the Wednesday. Played B2B with @tomotodj at @bungalow_qt. And threw down a couple sets at @barmudaqueenstown. I also want to thank all of those Queenstown bar and club managers, owners and promoters for giving me all of these opportunities ๐Ÿ™Œ โค๏ธ Time for a breather now, and to soak it all in. That said... I'm so buzzing for this upcoming summer โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘† #SnowMachine #Queenstown #NewZealand by @lj_groove
RHYTHM & ALPS 2026 ๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿ”Š Unbelievably stoked to be joining the R&A 26 lineup this year!! When I set out to go full time DJing at the end of 2025, playing the local festivals was one of my main goals... It's a real pinch me moment to be invited, and even better, I get to play drum & bass! ๐ŸคŒ Catch me rolling out some liquid rollers this NYE alongside some of Aoteroa's finest ๐Ÿซก Cardrona Valley - let's have at it! #rhythmandalps2026 #newzealand #festival #dnb #newyearseve by @lj_groove

Another great Ziptrek Local's Day โœ…๏ธ It's always a pleasure to join the @ziptreknz family and bring some beats to the treetops. Played over 7hrs sharing some of my favourites from the decades, from funk and disco through to house and dnb. And of course some kiwi classics ๐Ÿฅ Hundreds of zipliners took on the course and together raised money for a great cause! Central Lakes Family Services (@clfsnz) provide a wide range of services including support for domestic and family violence, sexual harm, and mental health to children, youth and whฤnau. It means a lot to be asked to come back for a third year. Thankfully I'm not scared of heights ๐Ÿ˜… by @lj_groove

Photo dump from the last two weeks ๐Ÿ“ธ A fortnight ago @chan_curlydog and I took a much needed break at @paradise_trust_nz. Always a decent getaway booking a hut out there, and great to look back and reflect on everything that's happened so far this year. Then followed a mad week of DJing and festivities at @snowmachinefest. Still buzzing I got to play the main stage and @georgefmnz Container Rave. This week has been a wind down. Dog walks and more reflection. Played my last couple gigs in Queenstown for a while at @barmudaqueenstown and @localqueenstown. Heading back to the UK for a month next week. I'll be splitting my time mostly between London and Bristol. Looking forward to catching up again with everyone there ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง by @lj_groove
The Vibes w/ LJ Groove, a monthly showcase of my recent finds, classic cuts, and hidden gems. Over the last month I've been in England dealing with all sorts of affairs and mostly non-music bits. But it was always a good release to hit up pirate and get lost behind the decks. While in Bristol, I hit the record on one session, and over a couple playful hours drank @stellaartois and rolled out some drums. Of course Audacity decided to freeze halfway, so it's a slight tale of two mixes. There's some liquid, techy bits, plenty of rollers, and also some jungle in there. Had to play off an older USB but it's always good to run back the older finds. Lock in your airwaves from 4pm, run it online through the app/website, or catch up later on Drop FM's @mixcloud ๐Ÿ“ป Cheers @pirateofficial ๐Ÿป 87.7FM Queenstown @dropfmnz by @lj_groove

Snow Machine '26 โ„๏ธ At the end of last year, I quit my job to go DJing full-time. I set myself some goals, including playing bigger stages and popular festival bills. Unfortunately, life dealt me some really crap hands, and I had to put those dreams on hold over the last couple of months. I stepped back from DJing and event organisation, and flew back to the UK to be with my family. However, slowly but surely, things are starting to turn a corner, and I'm hoping to return to my home in Queenstown in the coming weeks. I can't wait to get back behind the decks, and this winter is shaping up to be a beauty... I'm more than buzzing to announce that this September I'll be hitting the main stage at Snow Machine! I've been attending the festival for years and seeing my name on the poster is a surreal moment. I'm really feeling blessed to have been given this opportunity. Life is on the up, and Queenstown we are onnnn ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš€ by @lj_groove
