🎧: P.S.C.O.C.D. -> Way Too Early

Bringing the tempo up a bit here & on the production side too.

If you or a friend do graphic design / can produce visuals for my kind of sound, let me know.

Do Not Disturb was supposed to be on Let Me Know If You Danced, but I ended up leaving it off because it felt unfinished.

It’s still in a very raw state at the bottom of my FL projects folder, so I might go back in to clean it up. Idk though, because the actual new stuff still needs attention too.

Anyways, still just spinning what I make, but make sure you keep an eye on the trajectory…

Trying to up my followers so I can go live and play music I don’t own. Like, comment if you’re so inclined, but definitely send this to your group chats and techno friends to help me reach the people 🤞🏾🫶🏾

All in all, I think it was a successful first run!

No tomatoes were thrown and no speakers blown, so a half-decent foundation to build on.

Now that I know what buttons do what, I look forward to actually mixing soon. Stay with me here, it’ll only get better with more time

My intro to, & crash course on, CDJs (1/2)

I’ve lots more trial and error to work through and things to figure out between now and the next run, but really enjoyed the chance to try out industry-level equipment in a live setting. Definitely a two birds one stone moment as I’m getting familiar with the space and process

Shoutout to @steenschmidt & @silobrooklyn for hosting, too 🙌🏾

Part two will follow up pretty much immediately

Getting reps in, but thought this was a nice gear shift for the vibe.

I’ve a few more clips to post from this run, and am working on a foundation for the fx panel. Think it’ll be a nice add

Mixing into and out of The Black and Bleu from a recent practice run. It’s definitely become a personal favorite

New music Sept. 4th @ midnight! Also, just really wanted to share this one too. I didn’t even care abt making the video captions.

I feel like Something Dawned has a nice, thunderous sound to it, but it’s subject to change. I love how it mixes, but feel like there’s still room for it to be something more by itself as a song… idk. Might make two versions of it or something. We’ll see though. Stay with me here

Learning how to use the crossafader rather than just, using it, if that makes sense.
