When Mary graduated in 2022, so many people asked me, “What are you going to do now that Mary won’t be involved in FFA stuff?”Well, in 2025, not much has changed. I’m still doing whatever I can to help support my husband and the members of the Adams Central FFA Chapter. Whether it’s booking hotel stays for competitions, listening to demos and speeches, making food for a practice, driving the short bus to a function, or judging a contest — I’ve found ways to stay involved.I’ve also discovered that helping with the annual fundraiser is another meaningful way to contribute. Supporting an organization that has impacted our family in such huge ways, while supporting students, we pray daily that we are impacting in huge ways — what an honor.It’s that time of year to ask if you would be willing to come alongside our chapter and support? It is the fundraiser many look forward to, with the products many cannot wait to get. Fruit, Caramel Corn, and Honey, what better way to help students cover their traveling expenses for a contest or provide funds to cover all of the other expenses that come along with working hard and being successful? (contest registration costs, equipment and tools for activities, supplies for the program, and the list goes on). A fundraiser that not only gives to the chapter and its members, but is a delicious return to the purchaser! Snacks for you to eat during the holidays, or even better, GIFTS to give to others! Thanks in advance to those who choose to order (please let me know, and I will make sure your order is filled by a student and delivered), but if you are unable to make a purchase, please keep the ones in charge and the students in your prayers. We covet each prayer lifted up for safety, for stamina to plug through the hard time and keep working hard, for the grace and humility of successes and missed opportunities. The next generation needs our support through financial giving (or purchasing) when needs arise, but through prayer always.All orders are due November 4, with a delivery sometime in the first week of December.If you have ANY questions, please message, call, email, or text me! by @ljones627

Anyone who knows me knows I love words. Today’s word is “mistake”. Defined as: to be wrong, a wrong action, a wrong judgment. Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned (aka made mistakes) and fallen short of the glory of God. But the book of Romans (thankfully) continues to 8:28, and for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” That said, 21 years ago, I was convinced I had made the most significant mistake to date. What in the world was I going to do? I wasn’t ready to be a mom to anyone. I had dreams and goals, and a baby would not fit into my plan. I could have opted to dissolve the pregnancy, even given her up for adoption, BUT God saw fit to turn what I thought was my biggest mistake into my BIGGEST Gift and Blessing. Mary Lynn, you are ALL I never knew or dreamed I needed. Every time the devil tries to detour me and tell me I am nothing, or I messed up, or I am insignificant, it is YOU who God has used daily for 21 years to show me I AM ENOUGH. I have watched you grow and change; from one of the funniest, most unique kids to ever walk this earth to one of the most genuine, amazing, God fearing women I know. Who would have thought that those 12 pregnancy tests taken, the level of fear and denial that built a wall I never thought would crumble, would ultimately be the best Two Pink Lines I have ever seen. God has given us and this world the most tangible reminder every day that He makes no mistakes. He knew what we needed long before we ever did. Some days it feels like a lifetime ago, while on other days, it all seems like it was just a blink of time…. 21 years. Happy Birthday to YOU! 2004 is a year that will never be forgotten. Seeing Two Pink Lines the fall before was more than a shock and it felt like life stood still and WHY was what flooded my mind. Why me, why now, why THIS….. fast forward nearly 21 years and WHY is still the big question I ask daily. WHY did God choose me to be her mom. WHY did He feel I would be the one to love her, guide her,… be HER MOM. Although the WHY seems prominent in my vocabulary, THANK YOU has replaced those words more often. Thank you Jesus for taking the moments of doubt and fear, questions and apprehension and replacing them with the honor of being HER mom. Watching her grow in Jesus, surround herself with people who make her Better, strive for the excellence and success only God can give (and she knows deeply from whom her strength comes from). Happy Mother’s Day and Thank You Jesus for allowing Two Pink Lines to be so beautiful! by @ljones627

Sharing YOUR story may sometimes be difficult or seem unnecessary to others, but we never dreamed that a little over 21 years later The Story was meant to be told through a song and a script. God knew all along what we needed and saw fit to take our story and make it HIS. When the words in my head, the words of the devil and the words of those around me were saying how much we messed up and what a mistake we’d made,….. GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES will never ring more true to me. He knew our story was meant solely for His Glory and we are humbled and honored to share it!! by @ljones627

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this guy! The husband and dad who spends countless hours praying for and leading our home. The Ag Teacher/FFA advisor who leads, coaches and mentors with all his heart. The soils, dairy, parli, small engines, LDE coach and more who dedicates who he is and the gifts God has given him to students every day. The guy who teaches Sunday school and instills the power of prayer and God’s grace and leading by example to anyone who will listen. by @ljones627

"I'll just have ONE roll a Texas Roadhouse, said NO ONE EVER"! The Adams Central FFA Alumni are trying something new and bringing Texas Roadhouse rolls to your door!! (and some cinnamon butter too!)Now through March 11, we are selling frozen rolls, butter, and gift cards to raise funds for scholarships and other costs for FFA members. The deliveries will be made April 10-12 (those Adams Central FFA will be able to pick them up at the banquet), JUST IN TIME FOR EASTER LUNCH. These make a delicious and quick addition to your meal, a wonderful thing to bake and take to someone, and even a great gift for someone to bake for themselves later!
