An Invitation to the Moon 🌕

It’s the animation I have been working about Mid-Autumn ritual inspired by the ancient timeless folklore, the moon becomes the gate of longing, desire and magic. An Invitation to the Moon imagines a quiet invitation into the world above — where wishes, magic and moonlight meet.
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. 🐇🌙

Third animation I created for @rosewoodhotels inspired by @jinyaglass glass incense holder from the lunar new year table ritual gift set.

Scent leads us to a memory. And the spring festival is the start of four seasons. Everything is renewed to a new cycle.
The idea of this animation actually came from my deceased dog. It companies me during my darkest adolescence. My dad buried it under a jujube tree, with years passing by the tree growing taller and flowers blooming. It makes me feel it’s never gone and its life just transformed in a new cycle of nature.

It was an absolute joy to collaborate with @rosewoodhotels on the Chinese New Year project!

Inspired by the glass artist @jinyaglass beautiful glass gift set: a small dish, chopsticks rest and an incense holder, which represents reunion, rest and renew, I made three animations to introduce how the new year rituals reconnecting us at Rosewood.

The first animation shows the small round dish representing the reunion 💚

There is an urgent feeling, like a horse racing through my heart, when spring arrives. There are things I need to do, changes I must make, and expectations I hold for my life, even if I don’t know what they are.

Yet, there’s also a strange sense of sadness and loss when this season comes to an end, as if I’ve suddenly woken up from a dream. #illustration #illustrator #illustrationartists #artist #art #animeart #horse #horseanimation #horseillustration #design #shortanimations #spring #springart #mood by @ljtseven

It is a dream project I have worked for the past few months for @bangolufsen
Now it’s live!

‘Reloved’ it’s Bang & Olufsen newest program to trade the vintage products to new customers. Their timeless old products will be refurbished by experts and have a second life.
Good craft lasts by nature – when you manufacture something well, you make it worth keeping. In a world that moves fast, and discards even faster, the Reloved programme continues Bang & Olufsen’s commitment to honour what already exists, to prioritise circularity,to restore with intention, to carry it’s legacy of craft into the future.
Making an animation on my own has been a wild journey, but I’ve loved every minute of working this project thanks to the amazing producer: Elena, art directors: Emma and Matt, and my agent @inkling__illustration

There are more illustrations I draw for Reloved project, which you can check on B&O website.
Loved. Then Reloved♥️

I had the pleasure to draw this editorial piece for @milwaukeemag September issue about the forest bath🌳
I also animated this piece because there are so many cute creatures in woods waiting to be alive! Sounds on and enjoy! 🦜🐥🐦🐿️

The second animation I made for @rosewoodhotels inspired by @jinyaglass glass chopsticks rest in the gift set, depicting a time stop moment.
I imagine myself time traveling back to the childhood to live in that moment when all my family members were together.
